Seekerville Weekend Edition

What Super Bowl XLIII Means to Me:

At very least, four hours of uninterrupted writing time.

Go Cardinals!! Go Steelers!!

"Super Bowl TV Schedule & Kickoff

Get ready for a clash of epic proportions when the Arizona Cardinals square off against the Pittsburgh Steelers for Super Bowl XLIII on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at the Raymond James stadium in Tampa, Florida.

On TV, tune into the battle over the coveted Vince Lombardi trophy — and to decide which team gets to wear their Super Bowl rings — as it's played out live beginning at 6 pm ET on NBC.

Kick-off time is approximately 6:20 pm on the East Coast; 5:20 pm Central; 4:20 pm Mountain; and 3:20 pm Pacific. Across the pond, (and five hours ahead of East Coast time) UK fans will be able to check out the live game in the wee morning hours on BBC.

For the 2009 halftime show, the Super Bowl committee again went with the "safe choice" as rocker Bruce Springsteen takes the stage with "Born to Run" to kick off or end the set. Also on game day, watch for the return of the zooming U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds to put on a spectacular flyover just before kickoff. "

  3. What an amazing Super Bowl game!! The best I can remember. And we were a house divided. Hubby pulled for the underdog. I pulled for the Steelers, partly just to annoy him, and partly because my BIL has been a huge fan since he was little (and I wanted my sister to have a nice evening at their house!). :)
