Well, me too, so we're going to live vicariously, cheap souls (wait, frugal, I should say FRUGAL SOULS because cheap sounds crass, don't you think????) that we are, and we're going to lounge in our jammie pants or work clothes while the attendees shower us with pictures of what could be....

And that's what we're doing this weekend.

We're DOING SOMETHING WITH IT.

Which means we're writing, strategizing, working, playing, laughing, writing, editing, marketing, eating, writing, sharing, blogging, noting,... Oh, and did I mention writing????

Well, we write when we're not doing other jobs!!!  Come on, Audra, Git on', little doggie!
(I know it's a pig, I'm talking WESTERN)

And every single time I miss a conference or a great time to gather with other authors (because we all know I don't make it a habit to attend classes, so why waste the money on a conference fee, hmm???) I spend extra time writing, developing, working.

Why?

We've opened the prize vault today, swept out the dust of nearly six years of BLOGGING!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!  and I've got a nice little package of September Love Inspired books with some VCP's involved:

And chocolate. Lovely chocolate. But I'm not sending it until the temps cool down a mite, just a smidge, who'd a thunk we'd be talking heat wave in the Midwest in September, right????

And on top of that, we've got a bunch of RANDOM DRAWINGS today just to take away the sting of staying home....drudgery of housework.... same four walls....

Okay, we all know I don't really DO housework, I live in a state of tempered squalor and the other day I killed a BIG, BLACK, HAIRY SPIDER THE SIZE OF A SMALL MOUSE.... a "wood" spider, the kind that EAT WET WOOD....

Yum. 

But I ignore all that and delve into the world I love, the world of romance fiction, the world of happily ever afters!!!!
