Rumors that Barnes & Noble will sell a digital reader alongside Amazon Kindle and Sony Reader dominated bookselling headlines this week. Since the bookseller purchased e-book retailer Fictionwise, this hypothetical e-reader could sell plenty of e-books.

Michael Crichton, the best-selling author of technological thrillers like “The Andromeda Strain” and “Jurassic Park” who died of cancer in November, left behind at least one finished novel and about one-third of a second. Both will be released over the next year and a half, his publisher said.

C.S. Lewis Gets A New Look From HarperOne.
In addition to a new look for the paperback and hardcover books, HarperOne has created a website for C.S. Lewis fans.
"In addition to descriptions of and excerpts from the books, the site features a blog with original posts by Lewis scholars and other authors. These titles will soon be available as e-books, but for now, HarperOne is courting an audience interested in volumes that are, according to Boutote, “very tactile, nice to hold, very classy to give as a gift.”
