  6. Happy 4th! I look forward to reading your post in more depth when I return later from the high country. We are escaping triple digits and heading north, north, north to Flagstaff today to celebrate the holiday without risk of heatstroke! Hope all your firecrackers are sparkly ones today!

  7. Tina, thanks for another wonderful Weekend Edition! Hey, I can bring the wine slush to the island fireworks -- deep-purple slush that's to die for and low enough wine content that pregnant ladies can even drink it! The perfect complement for celebrating the 4th!

    Hugs,
    Julie

  13. Tina,
I think I'll have to put my granddaughter's photo on a badge button so people will recognize me. I just haven't gotten that 'professional portrait' taken care of.

July 29th will be here before we know it. We have a family wedding on the 18th and I'm looking forward to life calming down by then . . .

  19. Thanks for the opportunity to win the book, Breaking Into Fiction, and ultimately, for drawing my name.

I can't wait to get my slippery little hands on it. I've been breaking a lot of things lately, like wine glasses and zippers and knick knacks so I'm thoroughly prepared to break into fiction.

    Thanks again.
