I looked back at Lia Brown's post and made a discovery.

  8. Congrats to all the winners. How fun.

    Thanks for the coffee Helen.

I posted the info about protein pancakes in yesterday's comments. US EGG

US EGG is featuring pumpkin waffles this week. That sounded so yummy that I brought some for all of us to try.

Congrats winners!! I would love to win something I just need to remember to comment. I don't know if this one counts for a chance for the Kindle but in case it does I left my e-mail below.

  13. Tina, love your new book cover. Can't wait for the book.

Thank you for the Bob Mayer book. Congrats to all the winners. Now, if only the Braves take out the Giants today, it'll be a perfect day. (Sorry, Missy, but I'm impressed that your nephew at least admitted after the game that he'd been tagged out. It took the
'51 Giants fifty years to say anything.)

  15. Helen,

I post and check out Seekerville in Firefox and I too notice that if I go back and look at posts using my AOL browser or my Internet Explorer browser I see pictures I didn't see in Firefox.

Try using a different internet browser and see what happens.

  16. Laura,

    Welcome to Seekerville.

Every day you comment is one entry into the Kindle Contest.

Thankfully I am not the person counting the entries. We have a mathematical genius in the Seekers who is doing that.

  17. Thank you all for the kind words on my cover.

Home on the Ranch is the name of a series of releases with the same banner. Audra Harders book is a Home on the Ranch book as well.

They are not connected by characters or locales but they are all ranch books.

  23. Tina, love the web design! Perfect, simple, clear, concise. Done by Total Web Designs, right???

Love it and I love their work. Solid.

And seeing your cover and Audra's new cover gives me such good shivers. Happy dancing in upstate for you guys and I can't wait to walk into Walmart and grab those books!!!

    YAY!!!!!!!!

Which beats the heck out of the mouse I found in my bathroom towels this morning.

    A mouse.

Snuggled up in the dirty towels that someone(I will not name the person) tossed onto the floor when the hamper is like six inches away.

    Six inches....

The MOUSE is not six inches. More like 1 1/2 inches. Gray. Kind of cute in a mouse-like way, but you know what it means when you find a baby mouse????

    Brothers. Sisters.

Oh my stars, where's that cat when you most need her?

I brought a new treat, you will love this, and it has not been touched by mouse-like paws:

    Whipped cream Apple cake.

    Yellow cake drizzled with caramel.
    Topped with thick whipped cream...
Then topped with homemade apple pie filling...

    Serve cold.

    Delightful. Light. Amazing. Dig in!

  24. My Dad just helped me figure something out. Mary is a master of this concept... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraprosdokian

    for example:
"I like going to the park and watching the children run and jump around, because you see, they don't know I'm using blanks."

    or...

"It's too bad that whole families have to be torn apart by something as simple as a pack of wild dogs."

Now just think about the start of Montana Rose and others of course!! Ha! :)

  25. Mice are NICE Ruthie... really... but thanks for the non-mouse pawed grub this morning. I'm in Colorado mode you see, so there's "grub"... (Waving Tina!)

  35. It's cold and rainy here. And I promised Bob Mayer nice weather for his workshops in Denver.

But who can predict Rocky Mountain Mama Nature? The trees are gorgeous and it is like Thanksgiving here Eva.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving Day!! What food is traditional for a Thanksgiving in Canada?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Tina,

I think the food is pretty much the same as in the US - turkey with all the fixings (stuffing, gravy, potatoes, carrots, corn, cranberry sauce, etc.) and for dessert pumpkin pie and apple pie.

But, it would be rude of me to have this feast without sharing - so please everyone dig in and enjoy Thanksgiving in Canada as a prelude to your Thanksgiving which isn't for another month.

  37. Tina, love your cover!!! Can't wait to read the story!
