Have great and most productive week!
Hi Tina:
ReplyDeleteI just went to the “Sullivan Ranch” web site and I just love this line:
“The Rancher's Reunion” is now available for preorder!
This essentially means: It’s not available. You have to wait!
On the QT: the book will be available to the Illuminati, the Cognoscenti, the Literati and selected members of the Glitterati on December 1st. (They will know where to get it.) Shhh!
Vince
The coffee pot's full and timer set.
ReplyDeleteThe fireplace went into service this week. Nice!
Congratulations to all winners.
Looks like another good lineup for next week.
Helen
Ooooh! I won chocolate?! Hooray! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Seekerville!
Congrats to all the other winners!
I'll be spending my day flying back to Oregon from Texas, getting ready to spend three more weeks at school before heading home for Christmas. Should be a busy day! ;)
~Amber
Congrats to all the winners. Sure hope you are having a fun time this holiday weekend. Did you all get your shopping done?
ReplyDeleteIf not, I'm loving the author signed books deal posted. All my family and friends love getting autographed books for Christmas and birthdays.
Remember it is a great way to support the industry you are striving to break into. Or are already into.
Buy books for gifts.
If you buy gift cards (they are easier to mail), buy gift cards for bookstores.
Happy shopping.
Loved that version of 'Baby it's cold outside' and brrrrr it is! Had a blast reading the 100 ways to show character growth though I'm a little bit dizzy trying to process it all! LOL! Thanks for another great weekend edition.
ReplyDeleteWhoo hoo! Congrats to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteLooks like another good week ahead.
Sandra, I have two books bought for gifts and a B&N gift card for one of my friends with a Nook. AND I have more books to buy. I agree...books are great gifts!
Congrats all!
ReplyDeleteVince, I am somewhere between being in the Illuminati and the Glitterati camp. I am especially thrilled the early order time for Audra and Tina is moving closer!!!! Just a few more days.
Cyber Monday rumors have it that B and N have Nooks for $99. I am sorely tempted.
Most everyone in the family is getting at least one book for Christmas.
Have a wonderful week! It sure looks like a great week in Seekerville.
Peace, Julie
Congrats everyone!
ReplyDeleteHappy and safe travels home if you aren't there already...
Yes - several will be proud recipients of books. And I hope to receive a few as well. My TBR pile isn't tottering at the moment, something is wrong with this picture! ;D
any thoughts on how a Nook compares to a Kindle? I don't have either, don't know that I am ready to give up my "real" books just yet...
good morning everyone! was cold here this morning but probably warm for ya'll up north-in the 50s I think!
ReplyDeletesooo tired and work is busy once again so reading is gonna be a challenge!
I have Tina's book already - I guess the person who sent it to me is in that club where they mail them early or something?! I really didn't expect it to come up this soon - I add books I want to get to my wl on paperbackswap then buy them when they come out..usually they're out before my turn comes up on the list but this time the book came up first...
I was planning to read it today but work isn't cooperating :-( Might have to hide out in the bathroom or somethin'
Susanna
Yep, Harlequin book club folks got Audra and my books about three weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteAnd five people in Seekerville had their copy of The Rancher's Reunion mailed this week. AND there are at LEAST two more chances two win Rocky Mountain Hero and The Rancher's Reunion this week alone.
So your odds are increasing. And just for fun I am going to add a copy of The Rancher's Reunion to today's post.
Those are better odds than Vegas.
I love the comments under the Michael Buble song, Let it Snow.
ReplyDeleteIt's snowing in Ireland, Canada, Northern Italy and Denmark today.
So fun!!
Great pic of Julie! Hope everyone had a great weekend. We had a FUN Bunco party last night.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, all!
Cheryl
Hi Tina:
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a copy of your debut release.
Put me in for a chance to win.

Please Note:
ReplyDeleteBlogger would not print all the YouTube Address. You need to add index=3 to the end of the above address to make it work. Sorry.
Vince
That was cute too!!
ReplyDeleteLove Barry's coif.
Here's a short cut:
Baby It's Cold Outside
Congrats to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a little cold here, but it's warmed up today.
Nothing to compare with what some of you guys have!
Yay for the winners!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd it's a nicer day here today too :). Of course, I spent yesterday sitting inside Panera - but it was nice in there too :). [Grand total for yesterday: 12300 for the day, 40427 for the month.]
There's still some apple pie and Gooey Butter Cake left from Thanksgiving - I'll just set it over here and you guys can have at it :).
carol at carolmoncado dot com
What's gooey butter cake? I am always soliciting recipes. Virginia Munoz gave me a great apple cake recipe.
ReplyDeletePaula Deen's Gooey Butter Cake
ReplyDeleteMy sister made at 16th Century Apple Pie based on the recipe from the article that was plagiarized a few weeks ago and caused all sorts of internet hubbub. She said it's the best pie crust she's ever made - and the easiest to roll out. We skipped the saffron because it called for a pinch and it was like 15 bucks.
Tale of Two Tarts - we made the 16th century one. And yes, you really can pile all of the apples on top even though it looks massive when you do. They shrink down as it bakes.
So there you go :).
Carol
Some amazing links! I can't wait to check them out. Thanks, Tina!
ReplyDeleteHope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I wasn't online at all. Had family in town and was cooking for 2 days. :)
CAROL!!! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteEventually we are going to have a writer's recipe link around here.
It's been snowing here all day, so alternately shoveling and consuming hot cocoa with whipped cream topping & a dusting of cinnamon. :)
ReplyDeleteCAROL M -- Congrats on your fabulous word count!
Yeah, really Carol, you put me to shame girl.
ReplyDeleteYes - I'm quite proud of that total. It also only happened because I sat at Panera all day - no kids, no TV, questionable Internet, an IM partner who was also writing and racing and then ended up with words that are nowhere near ready to let influencial type people read it [like editors or agents or something - not even CPs - maybe a friend or two but even then only ones I'm sure love me already]. I mean seriously - mall security guard, halloween trick or treating and a shootout in 700 words or less? You tell me ;).
ReplyDeleteThere's a million -ly words, hundreds of words rehashing what just happened, very few senses and no secondary charcters with flesh on them [and only 5 with names, a total of something like 25 lines of dialog between them and two of them are named Jason - oops].
NaNo is quantity not quality. I prefer to just write quality [or something much closer to it] from the start but right now it's just words on the screen for winning's sake.
And today's total is up to 464 so far. Am hoping to hit 50K sometime tomorrow and then set this on the shelf and get back to the completed MS and get it polished to send off to an editor who requested it. Tuesday is more likely to finish though and then this thing may or may not ever see any light of day ever again once that 50K is hit.
How did you do yesterday, Tina? Or anyone else who did any writing?
Tina, I want the Rancher's Reunion. If I have to buy it, it will take so much longer to get it. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you. And I have a wonderful publisher. They entered The Healer's Apprentice in the RITA already! They put it in the Young Adult category ... but after the controversy and nasty comments on Amazon last week, I'm not so sure that was a good idea ... But oh well. There are other contests! And I want to enter them all!!!!! I'm still addicted after not being eligible for a contest for the last year! Tina, you'll be entering next year! Hoorah!!!
I'm revising Oklahoma Reunion. The easy stuff is all done. Now I'm doing the drag your feet, kick and scream stuff. Not that I don't want to change it, but I get a little afraid I'll screw it up and I won't notice LOL. So I make extra sure I have copies of the original in twelve different places.
ReplyDeleteMelly!! How exciting for you.
ReplyDeleteYeah, contest withdrawal is tough. This was the first time in seven years I have not entered the GH.
That last minute contest dementia and frenzy is so exhilarating. I miss it.
Oh my, CELTIC WOMAN, Carol of the Bells!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy heart sings when I hear that!
Vince, I L-O-V-E that you are in the K-N-O-W!!!! We count on that, man.
And Amber, finishing out a semester, home for Christmas... Raising a glass of eggnog to you, dear.
CAROL!!!!
ReplyDeleteSO STINKIN' PROUD OF YOU! OH MY GOSH, GIRLFRIEND, THAT'S A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!!
I'm doing a Snoopy dance in upstate NY just for you!
Writing weekend report...
ReplyDeleteI finished my edits on Small Town Hearts today (June, 2010, a stinkin' adorable book if I do say so myself...
which I do, of course!!!) and they will have it in NY early and that makes me happy because every day earned BEFORE the holidays is a day you don't have to lament losing AFTER the holidays.
September 2010's heartfelt release "Mended Hearts" is at 52K and should be done this week, and when we talk about getting emotionally attached to characters or subject matter, yeah. This is a tough one to write, but so beautiful, such a loving story of redemption and finding yourself when life takes you on a tough roller coaster ride.
AND... I got food. Dinner out with my husband to celebrate 37 years of marriage.
Just him and me after four days of LOTS OF PEOPLE AROUND.
And I love it when my kids come home, but it was nice to have Dave all to myself for a little while.
Congratulations to Carol on her word count for yesterday and for the month so far. I'm ashamed to say how low my word count has been this past week. So I just won't. And to all the winners last week Congrats also.
ReplyDeleteLove to have a copy of The Rancher's Reunion. Thanks, Tina, for your generous offer today.
patjeannedavis[at]verizon[dot]net
It's cold here, but no snow yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm positive I won't make NaNo this year (I'm only half-way there) and I was pretty bummed about it. But, this past week I got a great lead on a writing job that could keep me off night shift for awhile. Well, at least cut it down to one day a week.
And, I have my prizes. I love the necklace and have already started Audra's book.
Wishing everyone a week of good tidings. I will be back once I get my Golden Heart entries out. (And check out the virtual book signing!)
Abbi :-)
But Tina, it's so c-o-o-old to come outside. Would appreciate winning a copy of The Rancher's Reunion. Thanks for all the good links.
ReplyDeleteAmen, Sandra -- buy books as gifts.
And congratulations to all the winners!
Blessings,
Mary Kay
