This week launches the RWA National Conference in NYC. TWO THOUSAND romance writers will be descending upon the city.
With almost half of the Seekers traveling the Weekend Edition is up today. We will still be offering the First Five Pages Critique. Just let us know you want in. Winner announced next weekend.

Seeker Sightings
From RWA: The 2011 "Readers for Life" Literacy Autographing will take place on Tuesday, June 28, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square, Broadway Ballroom. This event is open to the public; there is no admittance fee. Proceeds from book sales go to ProLiteracy Worldwide and their local NYC partner, ACE New York.

(PS - I cried on Thursday, surprising myself quite a bit. When everyone hovered, asked what was wrong, all I could do was blubber "No! It's PAWmazing. It's been 28 dog years and it's finally in my hand." You see, my DH sent me to Michigan to literally watch my book be manufactured. And following Mary's lead, I kept it next to me all night.)

Hey, girls!!! I wish I was going to RWA this year with you all. Well, sort of. Mostly. Alright, I'm not that big on traveling, and the thought of New York City scares this little country girl from the Deep South, but I would like to be there Wed. morning for the National Readers Choice Awards. Ah-hem. But maybe I will make it for the 2013 conference when RWA comes to Atlanta.
