  3. HELEN!!!! I CANNOT WAIT TO MEET YOU! HUG YOU!!!! AND IF YOU'RE SHY, I'LL SMACK YOU, LOL!!!!

    :)

Thank you for the coffee, my friend. I'm loving it! And just so looking forward to seeing/meeting/hanging with my Seekervillager friends and buds and cohorts and colleagues and, oh, whatever y'all want to be called today!

I'm leaving early Sunday breakfast because puppy customers are comin' by after church and I will be busy puppying....

And yet another new verb finds its way into the English language, LOL!

We're going with Tim Hortons sweets this morning... And a side of bacon and sausage pizza. So donuts/pastries on the shelving unit, mid-left and breakfast pizza under the warming lights.

And I finished A Family to Cherish this week, a month early, and I LOVE IT... So that means I go to conference ready to think and tackle the next project in Ruthy-land...

Ahead of the curve... ahead of the curve.... Always work ahead of the curve because you NEVER KNOW when life might reach up and smack you upside the head with sickness... Emotional difficulties.... grief.... divorce....

    Ahead of the curve.

Just do it. (I love Nike)

  10. Good morning Seekerville. I'm just off a week in the Pacific Northwest. Spectacular scenery. Mount Ranier revealed herself on a cloudless day!!!

And the salmon, and oysters and crab were fantabulous and freshly caught off our friend's dock.

I am now an Ivar's clam chowder addict as well.

Hope all you ACFW conference goers have a great time.

I'll stay behind to hold down Seekerville and I guess that means giveaways!!!

    Lots of them as well.

Catching up on my mailings AND cleaning out the Seekerville mailbox and forwarding to the correct Seeker. So you can expect to get your mailings and critiques soon. Thanks for your patience.

  12. It eases the pain to know there are others not going to St. Louis--looking forward to our own party on Friday in Seekerville!

  13. I'm praying everyone has a wonderful week, whether at the conference or at home. Let's all be productive, learn something new, write pages, encourage one another to think BIG, step out in faith and then pat ourselves on the back next week when we've returned to our routines!

  14. Tina~

I'll be here for all the giveaways next week. I feel sure I'm the only ACFW member who lives in Missouri and is not going to St. Louis.

  15. Oh my gosh, for the stay-at-homes, here's what I do....

(THERE ARE REAMS OF EXPERIENCE BEHIND THIS ADVICE... YEAR AFTER YEAR...)

    1. I work/write/edit/enter/submit

    2. I work/write/edit/enter/submit

    3. I work/write/edit/enter/submit

Then I eat and drink coffee.

    Wait.

This does not sound much different than my normal routine... ;)

So that's my advice. I love going to conferences, but...

    I HATE MISSING WORK TIME.

    Yes, I'm a freak.

    But I love writing... working...editing...

    So much.

  20. Thanks for a great WE! I've been gone most of the day so just got here.

Hope you all had a great weekend. And that you conference goers have safe travels and a wonderful week!!

  21. Congratulations to the winners! I enjoyed the WE, too. Since I'm
not going to ACFW either, I'll join you other stay-behinders for the week. Looking forward to these promising posts.

Oh, I wanted to ask you to consider me for the weekly critique drawing. I'm writing a contemporary married romance (does that count as a romance?). My targeted publisher would either be Bethany House or Tyndale.
Thank you for all y'all do to help us move forward in the writing journey!

I'm delighted that you are going to get to attend. I'll be watching for you.
