  1. Coffee's ready. Come and get it!

Great week just ended. Great week awaiting us next week.

    Thank you, Seekers!

  2. Congrats to all the winners though really we're all winners just by being here. The info and camaraderie are the best prizes of all.

  3. Well, I popped on over and submitted an ms to the Harlequin site. :) Actually, I spent an hour brousing the days I missed on the calendar and making sure my submission was all ready to go. I just love entering contests because it's like a lottery ticket: full of 'what IF' and 'wouldn't it be GREAT' feelings.

    Loved the photos!!

  4. Helen, thank you! Great coffee as usual, my friend! And I LOVE THOSE PICS OF PATTI WITH DEB AND MARY AND JANET....

It's so much fun to steal a chance to get together away from the bustle of conferences, etc. I love me some Seekervillage Time!!!!

Great info link to NAL/Berkley's e-book endeavor. Very similar to what Random House is doing.

I think they'd be silly NOT to resurrect old lines so people can download old faves onto their Nooks and Kindles. Good for them!

And it's a cagey way to launch new authors, isn't it? I don't think I ever read Nora Roberts' Donovan series????

Doesn't sound familiar which only means my library didn't have it when I started studying the masters of modern romance.

I'm off to Allegany County shortly. Book signing today and I get to visit the places that inspired "Jamison", New York, my fictional town set off of Route 19...

    LOVE IT!

Teenster, thank you for a great WE as usual, my friend!

  5. Oh Janet, Mary, Patti and Debby, I'm so jealous. oops not supposed to be jealous. Well heck, I am.

So glad you all had a great time.

MARY C. How sweet of you. You're so right because that is what we are all about here in Seekerville.

    ReplyDelete
  6. What MaryC said. And ditto again!

And Virginia! You go girl! Entering a contest is kind of like anticipating Christmas when you were little, because you might, just might, get that pony you've been wanting! (So, did you submit it?)

And who wouldn't want to be in Allegany County today? November sunshine (I hope), small towns nestled in the hills, and a chance to run into one of Ruthy's hunky heroes? Sigh.

(Yes, I do know Ruthy's heroes are fictional...)

    Fun WE Tina! Thanks again!

  7. Congrats everyone!

What a great week in Seekerville and super line up for next.

As always, Tina, love the WE!

I'm with you Sandra! So WHO is coming to middle TN? If you're traveling between Nashville and Knoxville, you'll pass nearby. Let's get together! If it works out, I'll bring May! ;D

  8. Hmm... won Grammatically Correct from my birthday.

Not sure whether to be excited or offended ;).

Though my exceptionally inappropriate use [or lack of use] of commas Tuesday is probably why ;).

    Seriously - thank you!!!!

Great WE as always! And great week coming up!

  9. SUPER CONGRATS TO ALL THE WINNERS!!

And Deb, Patti Jo, Mare and Janet, I'm JEALOUS, SOOO JEALOUS you guys got face time!!!

I would have to say that's one of the hardest things about online friendships ... you almost NEVER get to meet the people you've grown to love online!! :(

    Happy weekend, all!

    Hugs,
    Julie

  13. Congratulations to all the winners! It was such a great week here last week, and I'm looking forward to the coming week. You ladies are wonderful for taking the time to help us along. :)

This site is one of my daily stops. :)

Thanks for the coffee, Helen. I'm enjoying a cup now.

Hope the book signing goes/went well, Ruthy!

  14. There's an oopsy in today's post that I fixed.

And I fixed Patti Jo's name...

    last night was tough..so sorry.

Had a sick kitty cat and that took all my attention.

She is on the mend today. (Is it okay to pray for cats? Because that's what did the trick.)

  15. Tina:

I appreciate the win of Glynna's book, but I won that one when she posted about gardening. It arrived day before yesterday, and I haven't had time to read it yet!

So why don't you do another draw and give someone else the pleasure of reading it.

And thank you again for the book, Glynna.

    Helen

    ReplyDelete
  16. ooh Helen, a double header for you.

Let's put it back in the hopper and draw another winner this weekend.

    Mea Culpa for not checking.

  17. YAY! Great pictures and congrats to the winners.

Off to do a leaf battle with the kids!

  18. I'm jealous of those of you getting together in person recently! Great photos Mary and Janet and Debby and Patti Jo!!

BTW, Janet, you look great in pink!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Tina, I'm sorry for your sick kitty! I think it's totally fine to pray for our animals and will be doing so for your baby.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Tina -- I'll add sick kitty to my prayers. Of course it's okay to pray for them -- God created them, didn't he? Poor little fluffball. I hope she stays on the mend.

Loved the Levenger site. I'd never heard of it. There's some lovely pens...and to-die for Free Leaf Multicolred Annotation Ruled Pads...doesn't that sound divine enough to send shivers up and down your spine?!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Tina,

We all pray for our pets over here! God made them, He loves them, and so do we!

So sorry she's under the weather... :( Rubs and hugs to her. And prayers!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Miss Tina, May the K9 Spy here.

Of COURSE it's okay to pray for us four footers. We have a pretty good relationship with the Creator as well and pray for our humans often. It's just different. ;D

Hope Miss Kitty is doing MUCH better now. Sounds like it! Give her special sniffs and greetings from me and Mom, 'kay?

  23. Congratulations Virginia on submitting to Harlequin's contest!

I could use a really strong decaf right now. I don't know why today's post made me think of coffee.

Congratulations to the winners! Another great week in Seekerville!
    Bee-utiful photos, ladies. Wow.

  24. I just spent the morning with the lovely Stephanie Karfelt at my book signing in Angelica, New York! We had a delightful group of ladies... great food... a wonderful server named Colleen... and the Black-eyed Susan Acoustic Cafe was the place to be!

Thank you Don and Karen Ash for another great time! We love you guys in "Jamison" NY, aka Angelica!

  25. Congrats to all the winners! I am excited to have won a copy of Cowboy Christmas! I'll be checking my email! Thanks for the info on upcoming events!

We only only you down as a last resort.

  27. Thanks for all the prayers, Charlie is eating today!!!

  28. HElEN -- have you "planted" the paperwhites yet?

Did you like my creative wrapping job? The book wouldn't fit in the flower box and I didn't have a box that the flower box would fit in, so I resorted to that bit of engineering ingenuity! Glad it made it thru the postal service! :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Congrats to all the winners from last week. Tina, hope your Charlie continues to improve. Ruthie, hope your book signing was fun. I have one next Sat. Happy birthday to Carol. And best wishes to all those submitting to contests and publications. Thanks for my win of Tricia's latest novel. Wonderful weekend everyone.
    Pat

  30. Tina, you softie.

    I knew it.

I knew it all along. Was it Charlie?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oops, now I've read the posts and see that it was Charlie.

One of our Golden puppies is named "Charlie", also.

    I love that name.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hey, everybody. When Glynna says "creative wrapping job" she means business.

She took this rectangular book, you see. And she wrapped it. Then she took this square flower box and put it on top of the rectangular book. She bound this structure together with rubber bands. Then she wrapped it all in brown paper and taped it up.
It looked like a little log cabin. :)

    So what did I do?

I opened the flower box UPSIDE DOWN. Guess what happened. Yup. Little brown flakes all over my recliner.

    Glynna:
I read the instructions for "planting" it, but I don't see what time of year to do it. Can it be done immediately, or should I wait until spring?

Remember, I have a black thumb and don't know these things.

    Helen

    ReplyDelete
  33. Pat! Tell us about your booksigning that is coming up!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I am honored to have my writing as a prize in Seekerville. Congrats to all of the winners already this week.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Look at that Glynna person. Not only sending stuff out in a timely fashion, BUT....

    sending bulbs, too.

Plant 'em now, Helen. They'll come up in spring. I keep spreading mine out because they look delicate but they're very cold hardy.

And up here??? We need cold hardy!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Congrats to all the winners!

Love the pic of Mary and Janet...how fun to meet for lunch.

Patti Jo and I had the best time at our lunch date! Of course, we talked about books and writing and how much we love Seekerville! :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yay, Walt. Loved downloading your book to my Kindle! Love seeing your name on the cover. So how's it feel? Really cool, right?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Loved the pictures of Mary & Janet, & Debby and Patti Jo.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, my hubby and I took a short trip to visit friends at a fellowship meeting on the MS coast this weekend. It was the church's 25th anniversary and the members surprised the pastor and his wife with a pastor's appreciation celebration as well. We had a wonderful time, but I didn't run into any other Seeker buds! lol

    ReplyDelete
  39. Congratulations winners,

I loved the mugshots. The coffee cups. And the other pics were nice too. How nice to get together. I was going to see Brandilyn and Colleen and got my days crossed.

    Oh well.

Hope everyone has a lovely day.

    Blessings

Congratulations to all the winners in Seekerville!

Huge congratulations, Walt, on the release of your Christmas novella! The title of the anthology Hot Cocoa for the Heart makes me crave a cup. Off to download your story.

  41. Tina, I am soooo sorry that Charlie has been sick, but am glad he's on the mend. Praying for the furry fellow (YES! I'm a big believer in prayer for people AND pets!). ~ My goodness! You did not need to take time to correct my name (it gets spelled with a "y" a lot!). I've even had folks to argue that my name couldn't really be "Patti" but that it must be "Patricia" LOL....but nope, my precious Mama named me Patti Jo (good ol' Southern name *grin*). ~ Thanks for ALL you do on the WE posts, Tina--you are wonderful! Hugs, Patti Jo p.s. To get in the "Thanksgiving meal mood" I've brought a warm Pumpkin Pie to share, and whipped cream, of course! ENJOY!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I LOVE PUMPKIN!!

    Anything pumpkin, but especially, pie!!

    Thank you.
