On Tuesday Sandra Leesmith interviewed Margaret Birth, who, in addition to working as a freelance writer, spent over a decade freelancing for multiple publishers as a manuscript reader, proofreader, and copy editor. ReplyDeleteI missed all of today. Sort of intentionally. Because I was at Panera working hard and I knew if I came over here, I'd come back repeatedly and I needed to get words in :).
10008 at Panera [yes, you read that right ;)] and 10303 for the day and trying to keep going until bedtime so I can hit 40K for the month. Right now at about 383xx.
So I have breakfast from Panera for everyone :).

Okay, working to get back on schedule here. I'm doing revisions and I think they're going well. They're a stinkin' cute couple, in any case, and they've got two little soldier boys kind of dropped on their doorstep, just in time for Christmas...

Carol, I'm beyond impressed. Seriously. I've never been able to do that. I plug along daily, but I've never been able to turn out mega-figures for a day. I think I've topped out at 4K when I've got Jammie-days.... But my brain doesn't work in "write" mode for that long. I need to walk away. I am totally lifting my mug of pumpkin spice latte in toast to your amazing effort and accomplishment.
At Panera, no less. Totally impressed!

Thank you everyone!!! Put on the headphones and get 'in the zone'. When DD10 left about 420, I was at about 1650. Did the rest in about 4 hours as I left around 830. As much as I can do while in the zone, that surprised even me :).
