ReplyDeleteOkay, that bookshelf muse list of emotions really got me thinking...
ReplyDeleteGreat WE, as always!!
Seriously loved the book tent. Where do you find these things???? If I was a camper I'd definitely buy that! Of course, I'd probably blow my whole season's camping funds on it but hey, I could pitch it in my backyard!
ReplyDeleteAnd the emotional thesaurus is intriguing. What will they think of next? Oh -- I know -- a thesaurus that eats up your back story and spits it out in a refined form. :-)
Congrats winners! Next week's line up looks great.
ReplyDeleteHi Kav, I'm with you. I would have lived in that tent growing up. How fun is that? Let me know if you set it up in your backyard. It would be worth a visit to crawl in and read for awhile.
ReplyDeleteGreat WE Tina. Looks like you and the girls had a blast. (I'm so jealous)
LOVE the pics of you, Mare and Audra, Teenster -- wish I were there!!
ReplyDeleteSUPER CONGRATS to all the winners!!!
OMIGOSH, can HARDLY believe the article on FB fans not seeing our posts on their newsfeed!!!! Makes me want to up and get off the stupid thing!!
Hugs,
Julie
Good Morning, Seekerville! LOVE the photos of a Seeker get-together! Sandra & I met up twice this spring--at Desert Dreams and then again when I taught a workshop for my regional RWA last month--but we forgot to have anyone take our photo together at the latter reunion. OOPs!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! I can't wait to see the posts for next week. They all sound interesting!
ReplyDeleteI won a crit?!?!?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteYay!
Congrats to all the other winners too!!!
Having a write in at our local ACFW meeting today. Need lotsa words. Praying for direction etc. or I'll end up crying ;). Plus a visit to my local historical museum in my town.
Thanks, Seekers! And thanks Tina for a great WE!
Carol - do you shoot somebody on p. 1?! That's a fabulous prize!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the other winners too.
And moi? A Deadline surprise.
OH MY!
that should be GRAND!!!!!
Super WE, and love the links.
AND... looks like you girls had FUN in Denver. CO is soooo wonderful.
Great Saturday everyone, May and I are editing away!
And THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all this weeksn winners!
ReplyDeleteHey, Tina!!! You and Mary and Audra look so fabuloso. I bet you had fun. Did you get the buffalo meatloaf? It's very yummy. :-)
ReplyDeleteI finished my edits. YAY!!! Surprised I survived them, but I did. Whew. This better be my best book yet. LOL!
I liked the article on writing a BIG story. You always find such great stuff.
Congratulations to the winners! It sounds like another great week in Seekerville.
ReplyDeleteTina, the WE was fabulous. I clicked on a few of the links and I ordered the Emotional Thesaurus. I have been looking for something like this. Thanks!!!
Seeing the pics of you, Audra and Mary were great! I haven't been to Larimer Square in years.
Yay! I won a book! What a nice surprise this morning. It's been a crazy one already, too. Babysat an eleven-week-old Miniature Pinscher overnight. The thing was as cute as a button, maybe all of two pounds, but it's already spoiled rotten. I planned on writing this morning, but the owners didn't come get it until just a bit ago. I'm worn out. The puppy has been "trained" to think inside is the place to use the potty. It had absolutely no idea what to do with grass. We would stay outside for half an hour playing and the second we came in... clean up time. This pattern happened four or five times starting about 5:30 this morning. I'd forgotten how much work puppies are! Makes me appreciate my adult dogs. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the prize, and congratulations to the other winners. Hope everyone has a good Father's Day weekend. I'm off to try and salvage some writing time.
Happy Father's Day tomorrow to all the fathers dear to Seekerville!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations winners!!
Love the photos of Audra, Tina and Mary having fun together in CO! Trying not to be jealous.
Melanie, congrats on finishing your revisions!
Janet
What a great WE! Unlike Janet, I'm going to admit to, and EMBRACE my jealousy of Mary, Tina, and Audra's get-together in Denver. lol
ReplyDeleteAnd, I'd love to read all the links, but I've got an afternoon tea honoring my future dil so I'll have to click on the links later.
Love the Father's Day them with the blue jean theme.
Happy Father's Day to the Seekerville guys!
So stinkin' jealous (yes, a sin.... Dagnabbit!) of Tina, Mary and Audra meeting in Denver!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhy does no one live in the Northeast? Is this an anti-Ruthy conspiracy???
I think perhaps it is.
Loving the WE, Teenster! Wonderful! We're prepping for a wedding picnic tomorrow (a friend's daughter) so we've been baking the day away... Which I chatted about at Yankee Belle Cafe.
Gotta check this more thoroughly tomorrow. Hey, try a brownie: Your choice!
Happy Father's Day to all Seekerville dads!!! I know our Seekervillager moms are planning a special Sunday for their special guys!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners!
Thanks, Tina, for a heads up about an interesting blog by Deb Smith at Bell Bridge. It's worth reading.
Thanks for the shout out to the ACFW Journal! I was thrilled to have Mary C and Ruthy contribute to the July issue. And Ruthy's piece on Seekerville was everything I asked for.
ReplyDeleteIn the coming weeks, both Mary C and Ruthy will appear on my editing blog, WritingOnTheFineLine.com, in the In The Edit posts. Would love to have the entire Seekerville community turn out to see what I do to their writing... heh heh heh!
I love all the cool links you share with us, TINA!! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteNow I can hardly wait to get my copy of the ACFW journal. I hope it's in the mail NOW!
Michael -- please remind us when Ruthy & Mary C are on your blog so we don't miss it.
WOW! Ask and ye shall receive! The mail just arrived with my ACFW Journal! GREAT JOB MARY AND RUTHY!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful dinner last night. Blissful.
ReplyDeleteOy, and there's that Connealy woman, braggin...
ReplyDeleteOh, it might seem PEACEFUL 'nuf, but it's braggin', jus' the same.
Hey, an emotional thesaurus????
Oh, that sounds like too good to pass up! And now I must go see the article about facebook fans.
But that makes sense because the streams are so different now. I think they mostly have to go to your page to see what you're up to. And who has time to do that, day in, day out?
Although the very notion of anyone waiting to hear what I have to say has my children laughing on the floor, clutching their sides, tears rolling down their collective cheeks.
Brats.
Da lot o' dem!
:)
LOL. LOVE the photos from your dinner! How is it that you guys keep getting younger looking?? Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI loved the pics of Audra, Tina and Mary! I wish we all could've been there for the fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the great articles, Tina!
What a treat to see Mary and Audra...Audra is a hop, skip and a jump but we are so busy we never connect.
ReplyDeleteOh, and the food was great too. We ate outside, and Larimer Square was lit up with lights, horse drawn carriages kept passing by. Total fun.
Next time I am going to be awake for it.
Hi Christina Rich..good to see you.
ReplyDeleteYou have been missed.
I bought the Emotion Thesaurus. I have been following their blog and wow to have it all in one place is such a resource.
ReplyDeleteoh, ladies, I'm soooo jealous!!! I wish I had been near Denver. Waaa. :( When are y'all going to come to Atlanta, huh????
ReplyDeleteI loved the photos. GREAT WE Teenster!
The Ten Steps to Becoming a Better Writer is a blast!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see the emotion thesaurus in a book. The settings are excellent, too -- good inspiration.
And the photos are so much fun. Thanks for sharing your get-together.
In other words, another great WE, Tina :-)
Congrats to all the winners.
And is there any place non-ACFW folks can see Mary and Ruthy's articles?
Nancy C
Happy Father's Day!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the winners. Isn't it grand? I love getting stuff almost as much as I like giving it away : )
Yep, I'm not even going to pretend I didn't love seeing Mary and Tina. And the evening was gorgeous. I'm just sorry it ended so quickly.
Congrats on finishing your edits, Mel. You need a breather and some quality relax time now!
Can you believe it's 100 degrees on our deck in the shade?
Mary said on facebook that she got snowed on yesterday at Pike's Peak! Weird weather you guys have.
ReplyDeleteBut Mary was at Pikes Peak.
ReplyDeleteDenver is an altitude of 5,280. Pikes Peak is 14,000. Slight difference there!
Nancy, you can come to my house and read my ACFW Journal.
