 Montlake Romance author Sandra Leesmith will gave her "The Sky Is Not  Falling" pep talk Tuesday. Sandra is so excited that another Speedbo has been such a success that she is drawing out of the cat dish multiple winners.  Walt Mussel is the winner of the ten page critique. Andrea Strong is the winner of her pick of Price of Victory or Current of Love and Debra Marvin is the winner of a copy of Cody the Coyote Who Wanted to Be a Dog.
  Love Inspired author Glynna Kaye joined us on Wednesday with "Pausing On Purpose" -- how to take your Speedbo product to the next level. Winner of one copy of their choice of one of Glynna's books is Donna P.
On Thursday  Thomas Nelson author Cara Lynn James shared about "The End of the Race."  The winner of an assortment of Love Inspired romances is DebH.

The RITA — the highest award of distinction in romance fiction — recognizes excellence in published romance novels and novellas. The Golden Heart recognizes excellence in unpublished romance manuscripts.

The 2013 RITA and Golden Heart winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony on July 20 at the 2013 RWA Annual Conference in Atlanta, GA.

    I posted earlier that I jumped ahead a chapter and a half and finished my manuscript. Yesterday I finished "plugging the hole."

    Now I'm working on an epilogue.

    I made it!!!!!!!

    Personally I can't stand Peeps. Give me Reece's peanut butter eggs any day. But after Sunday it's back to Weight Watchers for me. There's about 10-15 pounds more for God to love than I'd like.

    has anyone ever tried TOASTING a Peep?
    It seems a little 'Joan of Arc' but still, they're marshmallows, so why not.
    How about S'Peeps (S'Mores, get it!!??)

    I never have toasted a peep and suddenly that seems like a HUGE oversight.
    Like, well, sure, we eat pumpkin all the time but we've never tried it in PIE!!!!!!!!!!

    There are no Peeps on the premises. And of course no FIRE!

    But that is the ONLY thing stopping me.

    I'm wrapping up the novella I hoped to finish.
    I may make it because tomorrow looks to be a quiet day.

    Of course I rarely have a quiet day and I might just go wild and NAP THROUGH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Toasted Peeps are GREAT!

    We had a gas stove growing up, and we never went an Easter without roasting them. I love peeps and just a touch of fire to a marshmallow.

    Don't roast them too long. They burn easy with the sugar.

    I made my Speedbo goal of writing 25,000 words on a new story. I would not have made it that far without Seekerville.

    Are we supposed to report our SpeedBo Word count anywhere? My goal was 40,000, but I didn't quite make it. I wrote 15,000. :P It was a hard month. But I stopped early to work on one last edit of my first Regency before I have to turn it in. EeeK! I'm so excited about being a grown-up Regency writer! Haha!

    What a great way to end the month. Everyone progressed. Congrats to all who met their goals. I'll finish my WIP in a couple of weeks, but added 35000 words in March...above average for me.

    Seriously? I won a 5-page critique? That is so cool! Thank you! When I am published, I will need a full page to include the thank yous to all you Seekers for everything you have done to encourage and nudge me on my way.

    I see several names that are new to me on the April calendar. Should be fun to meet the folks who go with them.

    Congrats to all the winners -- extra congrats to everyone who met their Speedbo goal -- and huge thank yous to the cheer-readers.

    I've extended my Speedbo the number of days I lost to big, bad bears (and no, they were not living big, bad bears but events I couldn't foresee or delay). I will set off the fireworks when I reach my goal at (maybe even before?) my deadline.

    Need to come back later to read comments. Especially interested in the Amazon/Goodread ones. Oh, and Tina, I have geared up to enter two contests in April. Yeehaw!

    I'm glad to know I'm not the only one indulging in the Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs.

    Has anyone tried the Reese's Peanut Butter Ice Cream Eggs? They are as good as they sound.

    I'm still writing frantically -- definitely won't meet my word goal, but I'm determined to meet my plot goal so I can write that synopsis. I have 35,733 words so far which is just over half of my goal. :-(

    I bet I have the most creative excuse for being behind in my word count. Ready? Yesterday was supposed to be my marathon writing day only my dog got into a package of licorice allsorts...I won't paint you the visuals. :-(

    And thanks for the link to the Christian Fiction Online Magazine. I found a great article -- Building Suspense Behind the Scenes by DiAnn Mills. Perfect info for when I go back and start editing my story.

    I love all the Springy colors in today's W.E., Tina! My favorite Easter candy used to be something called "binks." They were little white chocolate bunnies that came maybe a dozen or more to a box. Haven't seen them anywhere in years and years. Does anyone else remember them?

    What an incredible last week. Congrats again to MISSY and PIPER.
    And congrats to everyone who typed The End and everyone who moved forward on their WIP!

    And I'm thrilled to have won a critique prize this week. Thank you very much!

    I really want to finish this WIP, but know that I will be about 8-10,000 short. I'm satisfied, considering my March got nuts with two dogs having surgery and bronchitis that took me out of the game.

    This has been a blast and I will continue this pace in April and will report when I get to The End.

    PEEPS!!!! My friend Jeff did a tour of the Peeps factory a few months back. Oh my stars, he said it was amazing. How fun! And yes, they sent him home with Peeps.

    And he shared.

    I'm watching The Bible right now. Our vigil Mass was beautiful and now I'm free to eat chocolate... BIG GRIN IN RUTHYLAND!!!! Now I must go see what naughty things some o' youse might have been saying at my expense whilst I was elsewise detaineth....

    And Marianne, you got together with SANDRA AND JAN???? HOW FUN! WONDERFUL!!!! What a great chance to sit and talk writing!

    I have our eggs for the egg hunt all filled.... puppies are clean... dogs are fed. Sick dog is in my room upstairs. Mama dog is down here with 6 pups with her, 5 pups in living room with me. Rotational nursing so they don't squash each other.

    Food is ready for tomorrow.

    Mary, I've never toasted a Peep, but I bet they're wonderful, not too dark. Don't listen to TEEEEEENA. People pay BIG MONEY to have their eyebrows waxed. Or maybe it's their eyebrows polished and toenails waxed. Or maybe it's their tongues threaded.

    WooHoo! After a weekend of brain freeze, I finally made my goal this evening by adding 2013 words for the epilogue. I am lovin' this story, but I was beginning to think I wasn't going to make my goal. Life kept getting in the way and sucking all the creativity out of my brains.

    Goal: NaNo novel revised and beefed up by 10k-12k words with epilogue added.

    And SCORE!

    Tina, I got kicked off my puker (my grandson's name for the computer - and for him only being three, how prophetic is that?) because my son was taking a mid-term on it tonight, so I had three hours to kill at Starbucks and spent the first 100 pages with Dr. Sara Elliot and Dr. Ben Rogers. Now I have to write my fingers to the bone until I can read the next 115, but can't wait! Hugs.
