That looks like such fun! I'm a reader - not a writer - and I'd like to be there!
ReplyDeletePlease enter me in the drawing!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics! And the info!
ReplyDeleteI got SWTR in the mail yesterday! SQUEE!! Can't wait to get into it! :)
Tina and all at the conference. I loved the pictures and I want to hear all about it. It looks like you are all having so much fun.
ReplyDeletePlease enter me for a chance to get one of your books Tina. This looks like a book I will love to read.
It is fun! We just got back from the Harlequin PJ Party. Danica (Dream) throws a great party. Had a chance to chat with the gracious Diane Moggy!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm going to have to repent for being jealous! You guys look like you're having a blast.
ReplyDeleteI will enjoy your pics and comments! Please, Tina, I'd love to win a copy, and I'll pick it up when I get down to Arizona! We finally JD rain. For caste was 90% chance of 2 inches over 2days. We got 1/4 inch, but it helps! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteTERRI, I'm feeling the same. My green eyes are really green tonight!
ReplyDeleteDid chuckle when the silent MARY/MARY video ended up really being crowd noise. I thought for sure one of the two of you would break down and yell 'Yeeha!"
TINA, thanks for the pics and details. Really fun to see what's happening in TX!
Hope you all are having a blast! Tina, I love title of your new book! My first thought was "Hmm, I'd like to be stranded with a rancher..." :)
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful pics! I'm glad all those Seekers and Seekervillians at Nationals are having such a great time. Enjoy your remaining time.
ReplyDeleteTINA, WHAT A GREAT NEW BLOGGER PIC, SO PRETTY IT REQUIRES ALL CAPS!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh...one of these days I have to attend a conference. It looks like sooo much fun!
ReplyDeleteTina I love the cover of your new book and I would love to win a copy. Thank you for the chance.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Smiles & Blessings,
Cindy W.
FIRST:
ReplyDeleteCUTEST COVER EVER!!!!!
I couldn't love it more!!!!!!
SECOND!!!! Praise the Lord for the changes made in the RITA because they had nowhere to go but UP.... and I mean that sincerely and yes, I'm saying it publicly.... But I'm so glad they reverted some things, changed the judging requirements and allowed for a percentage of finalists in EACH CATEGORY rather than making it romance soup... Soup is good for some things, but it isn't good for judging apples and oranges. Good for you, RWA, for seeing the problem... and hearing about the problem.... and then acting expeditiously to handle it! KUDOS!!!!!!!
THIRD: Love the RWA coverage!!!! It's so exciting to see! Thank you, thank you, thank you Tina for the great photos!!!! AND HOW CUTE IS TANYA AGLER?????????
Stinkin' cute!!!!!!
I'm heading to Manhattan today, gotta see my boys.... and a Yankees game tonight!!!! Happy dancing!!!!! But if my phone works to let me in, I'll annoy youse on a regular basis!
:)
You're welcome!!!!
love the photos. I know Narelle Atkins and Dorothy A from Australia are there.
ReplyDeletecan you tell me what Pan or pro are?
Would love to read your book.
Oooh...love these pics. Almost as exciting as being there but my goodness, the noise. How do y'all have a conversation?
ReplyDeleteI'm with Jenny -- what is pan and pro?
The Harlequin DJ party and the Amazon party sound like fun! See, you can be here and still miss stuff! :) It's been a fun time so far!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you all are having so much fun!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cover, Tina. I'd love to have my name in the drawing.
Thanks for sharing the pictures!

ReplyDeleteMake sure you guys bring lots of good news back with you!!!!
Enjoyed the photos,Tina! Looks like you are all having a good time!
ReplyDeleteParty on!! :-))
I. AM. SO. JEALOUS!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful conference! So many happy, smiling faces. And that Cowboy Jake...don't you just want to take him home with you???
So glad to see everyone having fun. How was the Amazon party? This is the first year Amazon has been part of RWA, right?
Will be checking in for updates during the day...
Tina, I love the cover of your September book!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like everyone is having a good time! Thanks for sharing the pictures. Your new book sounds great, love the cover.
ReplyDeleteDid I say DJ? PJ. Pajama party!
ReplyDeleteLOL
PRO is the organization within RWA for authors who have at minimum completed one manuscript and submitted it and are not yet published.
ReplyDeletePAN is the Published author network.
There is a retreat at RWA for each group.
Hey thanks, Melissa J. I heard some news about you while I was lurking!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun, Tina!!! :-) Great pics!
ReplyDeleteLOL. Thanks, Heidi!!!! And thanks all for the cover comments.
ReplyDeleteOkay, seeing all the photos and fun makes me feel sad I'm not there this year.
ReplyDeleteBut I"m so delighted you are all having so much fun.
What a great time.
Missy, your daughter came with. How special is that?
Definitely a cute cover! I love seeing the pictures of all the goings ons at RWA, so thank you so much for sharing. I have to live vicariously for now. :)
ReplyDeletePiper - rooting for you on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteTEAM PIPER IS TOTALLY READY TO CHEER!!!!!!

How FUN! You all look FABULOUS! Thanks for sharing the excitement!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! Looks like you all are having a great conference!
ReplyDeleteWill be rooting for PIPER from here in Georgia! :)
No need to enter me in drawing - - I have my copy of Tina's Sept. book and L O V E it!
Missy, your daughter is precious! How special she's with you at RWA!
Hugs from Georgia, Patti Jo :)
Thank you! I appreciate all of the support!
ReplyDeleteYay! Fun photos! Maybe next year I'll get to that conference!
ReplyDeleteI have a question! How did Mary C. get her PAN status so quickly? I have to jump through hoops to get it. First I had to get paid - which I did. But now I need to provide an IS something number which I don't have yet for the LI book.
Is there a secret someone can share? Thanks!!
Have a great time! And wishing Piper the best of luck - and Carla (loved her debut book "Five Days in Skye").
Love all these cowboy books too!
Throwing my cowgirl hat into the draw!
Cheers,
Sue
GO PIPER!!!!
ReplyDeleteloving the pix and info. I am so wanting to win your book Tina. please put my name in the draw. I'm with Heidi - if i wasn't already married, I would love to be stranded with a rancher as handsome as the one on your book cover. Of course, I adore my scuba diver hubby, so I'll have to pass on the stranded thing. *heh*
Aw!!! I would love to be there...especially since it's so close to where I live. But I have to say, I have gotten a lot of important writing done over the past few days being home...
ReplyDeleteJen! Proud of you!
DeleteThanks, Tina, for sharing all the photos. Looks like a great time!
ReplyDeleteI just finished Mending the Doctor's Heart and loved it! The cover of your new release is beautiful. Bring on winter! :-)
♥ the stats about local chapters & money. Surprising but not...#conundrum
ReplyDeleteThis is Tina stopping to say hi!!! San Antonio is hot!!! Who knew????
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad that I couldn't go, but thanks for the updates. What are the benefits to updating your membership to PRO?
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures by the way :)
Enjoying the picture and being there vicariously. Please enter me into the drawing for Tina's book!
ReplyDeleteBy the way...I've gotten NOTHING on Ruthy's list done. :( Breaking in a whole new batch of kinders is taking all my energy at the moment. I go home and go straight to bed. :(
ReplyDeleteYou know, when you look at 49% of membership that are neither Pan or Pro, that's a lot of folks looking at the dream and maybe not just there yet, timewise....
ReplyDeleteOr they love the society of writers. And there's not a thing wrong with that!!!
Sometimes it takes a long time with the Society of Writers to be the right time to Finish The Book... We are so blessed to have such a wide spectrum of folks in this biz!!!
Tina, it's hot there????
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!!
I'll wave to you from Yankee Stadium tonight... You be sure to SKIP THE HARLEQUIN party and look for me on the Jumbotron!!!! :)
You guys are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLots of authors and books; sounds great! I'm sure it's a lot of fun and maybe work for the authors. Please enter me in the book giveaway.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, Tina, who'd you lurk around? I've got more than one fun thing up my sleeve! :)
ReplyDeleteI almost feel like I'm there!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for ACFW in St. Louis :)
And I'm on pins & needles waiting for the Golden Heart and Rita announcements. That's tomorrow, right?
The pictures look great. Wish I was there this year.
ReplyDeleteHarlequin has a pajama party. Now I know I'll never get a contract there. :-)
LOL, Walt.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't wear jammies. Just street clothes.
Looks like y'all are having lots of fun! I have my copy of SWTR, can't wait to read it!!!
ReplyDeleteTrying to comment on phone. Lost my comment. :( hubby's computer died and we're going to buy another one. Actually, we've been at the John Deere store for an hour. Really????
ReplyDeleteFun pix and great smiles! Thanks for taking the time to share.
ReplyDeleteHot in Texas? In late July? Pshaw :-)
Nancy C
Oops! Forgot -- don't enter me in the drawing. I have it on pre-order (and am unattractively jealous of those who already have theirs).
ReplyDeleteNancy C
Hey gang. Having so much fun seeing writer friends.
ReplyDeleteI'm exhausted and not thinking clearly....but that's an everyday thing for me. :)
Wish everyone was here.
Thanks Preslaysa!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Nancy for preordering.
xxxxxxxxxxx
I'd love to go to one of these someday! Just meeting two authors last year was so much fun for me! I can't imagine meeting a whole bunch of them! I enjoy "talking" with authors on Facebook so much and I'd sure enjoy meeting them face-to-face! I've always wanted to go to San Antonio too. I wish I could have gone but this summer was totally crazy at our house!
ReplyDeleteTina, I would LOVE, LOVE to win your book! I read everything you write so I'm sure book will be fantastic as are all your books!
Valri
TEEEEENNNNNNA!!! BLESS YOU FOR THIS FAB COVERAGE ... ALMOST LIKE BEING THERE WITHOUT THE NOISE AND CALORIES (and, yes, I'm being snarky 'cause I'm flat-out jealous!!!).
ReplyDeleteLOVE your new cover, my friend, I'm with Heidi -- LOVE the title of your new book, too, because the word "stranded" reels me in ... ;)
SOOO glad Team Piper is in place and ready to cheer -- GO PIPER!! And GOOD LUCK to both Carla Laureano and Elizabeth Byler Younts -- tough decision there in the Inspy category!!
MARY CURRY SAID: "San Antonio is hot!!! Who knew????"
LOL ... I happen to love "hot," both in romance and my climate, so I am SO jealous!!
WALT SAID: "Harlequin has a pajama party. Now I know I'll never get a contract there."
LOL ... WHY? I think you would be fun at a PJ party, Walt!! ;)
Hugs!!
Julie
I bet Walt would love the pajama party!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHere in the northeast I saw Jeter, Yankees won, my boys fed me, we saw a few NYC reality show type situations, and I had a Starbucks coffee!!!!
Happy! :)
I expect all of our Love Inspired gals are still dancing the night away at the Harlequin party... and well deserved !!!! (Nora Roberts and Linda Howard are two small DOMINOES and they can dance all night. That is my claim to fame, dancing next to them a few years ago!!!!)
And I know there are other cool parties going on tonight....
SUHWEEEET!
I always hear PAN and PRO but I still don't really get those terms. LOL. I only was a member of RWA for one year. You'd think a year was long enough to figure out how it all worked.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great party! Enjoy yourselves!
Oh... my word. Pajama party.
ReplyDelete*blinking*
It looks like everyone is having a fabulous time. Thank you for the pictures.
ReplyDeleteSo great to see Seekers I already knew and meet new ones. Hope everyone had a great conference. I did! And now I'm waiting for my last flight to home sweet home.
