Seekerville is closed today to celebrate the American "Labor Day" holiday. With summer winding down, we'll be relaxing with friends and family (and probably sneaking in a little writing time, too!).
I think "closed" is a relative term. And what better day than "Labor Day" to celebrate having a job we love, love, love, love?????
How blessed are we!
Praying for strong jobs for all, for a better economy across the world, and peace in the Middle East. Praying for the souls lost to war and those lost to hatred.
May God bless those hard hearts with the grace and love of Saul-turned-Paul. Because God can do anything.
Nancy C and Carol G -- yesterday I picked flowers from my garden and patio pots and made a little arrangement for the dinner table for my family to enjoy. With night time temperatures now regularly down in the low 40's in the mountains of Arizona, it probably won't too many more weeks until my flowers get "nipped" -- so I'm enjoying bringing a little of the summertime outdoors inside!
Carol -- I took a peek at the flowers on your website. Beautiful! Right now open fields and along roadsides are awash with gorgeous sunflowers. Won't be long and the aspens, locust and maples will be changing color!
I know you are closed but just have to say I love the flowers.
ReplyDeleteJenny, you're so stinkin' cute! Even when we're closed, we still talk writing over here!

Good morning, Jenny-- or whatever time it is "down under" at the moment! :) A friend gave me those flowers and I'm glad you're enjoying them, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the flowers, Glynna :-)

Lovely flowers! I have flowers featured on my blog today, too. They seem extra precious as summertime begins to wind down.
ReplyDeleteI also echo Ruthy's prayers for our troubled world today.

ReplyDeleteI hope everyone is enjoying the last unofficial day of summer with a little relaxing time.
ReplyDeleteWhoot! I just emailed Shanghaied by the Bride to my editor. Hooray!!!
ReplyDeleteNow I can go to the family cookout and enjoy. Maybe actually watch a movie this afternoon or take a nap...or both!
I love my job! :)
Lovely flowers, Glynna!
ReplyDeleteHubby and I had an overnight with daughter and her three little ones. So fun!
Storms have rolled into the Atlanta area. Safe travel to all those on the road this evening.
Happy End to a Wonderful Labor Day Weekend!
Congratulations, Pam, on getting "Shanghaied" out the door! Now go have some fun!
ReplyDeleteSounds as if you had a good weekend, Debby! Storms seems to be popping up all over the country, so I'm glad you made it safely home.
