That's it! Have a wonderful weekend!
Wonderful WE Tina! Congratulations to all of the winners! Have a wonderful & productive weekend everyone.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteLooks like some great posts in the coming week.
The weekend is here at last. It has been a long week for me with 12 hour days at my two jobs. But now I have the whole weekend free and looking forward too finally getting Christmas decorating done.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend everyone.
Oh, how can it be that another week has passed? And I'm sure the weekend will blow by, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the WE, Tina and I will come back to read the articles you've posted. So many interesting topics this week.
I'm back to the editing cave now so I have time tomorrow to attend our neighborhood Christmas party. I'd mentioned this earlier, but they bring a horse and Christmas carriage in and everyone gets a ride. It's one of my favorite things, seeing my grand-kids so excited about riding in the Santa Sleigh - at least, that's what they call it!
Have a wonderful weekend, all.
Some great links. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all winners.
Coffee's on!
Yay, winners!
ReplyDeleteAlso, yay Seekerville ... the upcoming week looks great.
Especially ... Walt AND fanfiction? I'm so there!
I enjoy reading fanfic, though you do have slug through a large range of writing skills/quality, but once you find a good author, it can be worth it. =)
I love New Year's Eve Parties in my jammie pants the best!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy dancing in upstate, but first:
CHRISTMAS!!!!! Oh, yay, baby Jesus!
WINNERS!!!!Congratulations, my friends!!!!!!
I love seeing happy faces and winning stuff is always fun!
I popped over to check out the article about Reedsy... and it's an interesting and age-old method of entrepreneurism:
ReplyDeleteOwn nothing.
Control everything.
A successful matching business to make professional's lives easier. What a smart idea!
But I must return later, I've got a writing stint to do now, then a 7:00 AM trip to Sam's Club, 8:00 AM choir practice, 9:30 AM pick up pictures for gifts at Walmart and then back home to clean and decorate for Herne family party tomorrow.
So if it doesn't get written NOW... sigh... It doesn't get written this weekend! :)
I'll stop back later with cream puffs!!!!
MMMMM.......... cream puffs. :)
It's been a great week, and thanks Tina for another great WE. Congratulations to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteSandy Smith I hope you get your decorating done.
Good morning, Seekerville! First real snow for the season (1-2 inches) on tap for today. Rained here most of the night, but the temps will be dropping around sunrise. Today will be writing and wrapping presents and a billion and one other chores that got neglected while chasing down that December 1 book deadline.
ReplyDeleteRuthy -- your Sam's Club opens at 7? Ours doesn't open until 9 on weekends and not til 10 on weekdays.
Thank for another fabulous Weekend Edition, TINA! Looks like a busy week ahead -- and a fun New Year's Eve!
Just checked again -- still dark but snowing now!
ReplyDeleteAnother great WE edition and I see I have some catching up to do in Seekerville. I'm going to hang out here and read over the days I missed until Ruthy comes back with those cream puffs.
ReplyDeleteWonderful WE reading, Tina! I look forward to browsing through it all this afternoon.:-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, winners!!! :-)
It was a great week...but with TINA at the helm, all weeks are like that. Thanks TINA, and the whole gang at Seekerville! YOU ROCK!!!! Congratulations to all the winners. It took some work to get there!
ReplyDeleteGlynna, I have a business membership at Sam's. And even if you don't have a business, you can do the Sam's Plus and get in at 7:00.
ReplyDeleteAnd ours is actually open to everyone at 7:00 over the holidays, so that's nice for full time workers!
I love getting in and out early before things get busy. Today I have written 1K, grabbed a quick shower, cleaned the kitchen (kind of), shopped at Sam's, had a 90 minute choir practice, shopped at Walmart and put away all the groceries I need for this week and tomorrow's party and now the festive part begins!!!
After I feed the chickens!!!! EEEK!!! HUNGRY CHICKENS!!!
Cream puff schedule: Mid afternoon.
ReplyDeleteWith chocolate frosting.
I'm psyched.
Tina, thanks for the terrific Weekend Edition! Every week is chock full of information and reasons to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to our winners!
Hope Villagers can find time on Monday to take a mini break from shopping, wrapping, decorating, card sending, baking and of course, writing, to board The Publication Train. Anyone else love trains like I do?
Ruthy, I adore cream puffs!!! I'll be back.
Janet
Lyndee, a carriage ride with your grandkids is well worth crawling out of your editing cave! Have a blast!
ReplyDeleteJanet
I'm a Costco fan, but don't know their hours. Impressed that anyone is shopping at 7:00. LOL
ReplyDeleteJanet
Happy Saturday, Seekerville! May all your reading and writing dreams come true. Actually they won't unless you actually target them. I am targeting as we speak.
ReplyDeleteI'm taking a quick break from baking my son's birthday cake to drop by! Stop by the Yankee-Belle Cafe in the new few weeks to see this amazing southern recipe. Of course, I'm hoping photos of this one will be prettier than some I've shared! :)
ReplyDeleteTina, thanks for this great WE! I see I have lots to read later.
Now, back to making cream cheese icing...
Wow! I won a copy of Davalyn's book! How exciting.
ReplyDeleteTrying to put up our decorations. Taking a break. Tomorrow my daughter has a day off work and will help with the tree!
Have a great weekend!
Cheers,
Sue
CONGRATS to Cindy who won the toolbox and books!!! Thanks for having me on this past week. I really enjoyed hanging out with you. Blessings!!!
ReplyDeleteTina, the free image sources article is fantastic! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading Walt's post about fan fiction. What a wonderful vehicle fan fic is for being in touch with fans and getting immediate feedback.
Congrats to all you winners!
Wishing everyone a nice weekend.
Nancy C
Sue, we got our tree last night but need to decorate it. Now that my son is home, we'll have more help. :)
ReplyDeleteRuthy, you have choir practice at 8 am Saturday morning??!! I guess that's maybe a special rehearsal for Christmas? What dedication!
ReplyDeleteWe have dress rehearsal next Saturday, but it's at 10 am. :)
Missy, we got bumped from 9 to 8 because of a funeral Mass.
ReplyDeleteWe probably all sounded like frogs. Then we'll practice a couple of nights this week, so yeah, like yours, it's a busy time. So many beautiful services and Masses to sing for!
Alleluia! ;)
Baking cream puff shells now. Pudding is made and chilled.
ReplyDeleteI DECORATED BEAMS.
I'm so excited about that! We have two beams in the new family room and I got to bring out the village pieces my oldest daughter bought me when she was in high school... Working extra shifts waitressing to buy me these pretty village pieces. But then with so many little kids here, I didn't dare put them out the past ten years. They're not pricey... but they're priceless to me!
Today, I put up twinkle lights and the village buildings and some fun Christmas greens.... And it's charming.
I HAVE SOMETHING THAT LOOKS CHARMING!!!
TOTALLY STOKED RIGHT NOW!
And now I return you to your regularly scheduled program. :)
Yaya! I'm a winner! Thank you Seekerville and congrats to all of the winners! Hope your dessert turns out well!
ReplyDeleteThat was for you Ruthy in whatever you are making to put into shells!
