Happy New Year!!
Thank you so much! Congratulations to the winners! Loved seeing all the snowmen in the Weekend Edition post. I haven't had any snow to make a snowman yet.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners. I am looking forward to the New Year's Eve party.
ReplyDeleteNeed to get to bed now. Have a busy weekend with celebrating Christmas with extended family and celebrating my dad's 80th birthday.
Thanks for another great WE, and congrats to the winners.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to spending New Year's Eve with you all!
Happy New Year, Seekerville. Hope your Christmas weekend is full of lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteI am really excited about the NYE Bash, especially since Ruthy and Audra are the team running the party this year. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahha
Congratulations to all of the winners.
ReplyDeleteI'm busy trying to play catch-up on my revisions this weekend. The Christmas holiday sidelined me a little.
Tina gets to sleep this year!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend, Seekerville.
Great links, as usual. Thank you. Will check back to read some AFTER I get some writing done.
Happy Saturday everyone!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all winners!
I won another book and I'm looking forward to extending my holiday with Glynna's High Country Holiday.
Seekerville has been so generous in 2014, I think I won a book every month this year, all while learning so much about the art of writing.
Thanks to all the awesome people who make up Seekerville, writers and readers alike. What a pleasure this year has been. I
TINA, I'm looking forward to the NYE bash too. Btw: I made your Parm. crusted chicken from the Cafe on Christmas eve, we all loved it and hubby said it goes in the regular rotation, high praise!
TINA may get to sleep this year, but will she? Thanks for the Ebooks! Congratulations to the other winners!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading to the winners!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat links.
Still have my kids here, but they're leaving today.
Looking forward to Wednesday's bash.
Happy Christmas weekend. Congrats to the winners.
ReplyDeleteDEB H. Thank you for the lovely graphic for our new year's eve bash.
Oh I'm so excited. I will be at another party, but I told them, I have to leave for an hour to party with my Seeker Villagers. smile. They understand. I'm so blessed.
Congratulations to all the winners. So many goodies.
ReplyDeleteWe celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas at my house, the week of Christmas through the week of New Year's, so we're still in full celebration mode. I got a Keurig this year. I might get seriously addicted to coffee.
Good WE stuff—thanks, Tina!!
ReplyDeleteHope everyone had a great Christmas—looking forward to the new year ahead.:-)
Congratulations, winners!!
I just read MaryC's post from yesterday—loved it.
Have you ever felt guilt over your unbalanced life because you didn't feel guilty over it????
ReplyDeleteHave you ever felt guilt over your unbalanced life because you didn't feel guilty over it????
Mary Hicks, you nailed it.
Tracey! Cool beans. We love it too. Shocking how easy it is. I was unconvinced until I made it.
ReplyDeleteI know. I know. I get to sleep this year. Yippee. Kudos to Audra and Ruthy!
ReplyDeleteNot only that, THEY were smart enough to make the party from 6 am to midnight EST.
ReplyDeleteDuh on me.
Must buy chicken to make Parm. Chicken ASAP. I love Parmesan Chicken. Yum! :)
ReplyDeleteA fantastic WE, Tina! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteY'all be sure to enter the Golden Heart! We want to keep the inspy category full!
Sandy, I hope you have a great time!
ReplyDeleteJackie, I'm looking forward to NYE as well!
DebH, thank you for the graphic! I love it!
ReplyDeleteElaine, you'll love your Keurig! Getting that cup brewing is the first thing I do every morning. :)
ReplyDeleteTina, none of us has your stamina! So we had to make it shorter this year. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners! I didn't get an ereader for Christmas but I did get some great news! I had my iPad stolen 2 weeks before Christmas - thought I'd never see it again - police thought so too. Last night I got the news that someone turned it in!!!!! Fantastic news! I'm on vacation right now but as soon as I get home, I will pick it up! So, it's like getting my ereader back!!!! YAY!!
ReplyDeleteTina, thanks for the Weekend Edition! Always informative and fun.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to our winners!
I'm getting synced for our NYE
Bash! And hoping 2015 will be a great year for all of us.
Janet
Valri, that's fantastic news!
ReplyDeleteJanet
Meant psyched, not synced, though that's not a bad idea! LOL
ReplyDeleteJanet
Hi Tina:
ReplyDeleteYou wrote:
“Not only that, THEY were smart enough to make the party from 6 am to midnight EST.”
Did I read that right?
Does the whole world have to revolve around New York City?
What about us old people, out here in the west, who don’t have a life? Are we supposed to close up and go to bed just because it’s 12 midnight in NYC?
How about a little time-zone equality? Could you make that 6 am to 12 midnight PST?
I volunteer to take over for Ruth, the last two hours, if she has to retire at high midnight. : )
LOL on the shorter NYE party hours!!! In case no one noticed, we are ALL GETTING OLDER!!! If I lived in PST, I would be THRILLED to celebrate the New Year on EST and then hit the sack!
ReplyDeleteELAINE, how fun to celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas! What are some of the ways you celebrate each day? Three French hens ... two turtle doves ... and a Keurig perking lots of coffee!!!
VALRI, how wonderful that you got your iPad back!!! I wish my missionary kids over in Africa would be so lucky with their stolen computer. Our daughter thinks she found it listed on a buy/sell Facebook page based in their country, but was nervous about trying to find out for sure without bringing in the local police. Not sure what ever came of it.
ReplyDeleteVince, I will note your comment at the next Seekerville Board Meeting.
ReplyDelete.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tina:
In the meantime I’ll wear my Yankee hat for good luck.
BTW: I like going to bed early, too. However, I do try to make an exception one day a year for the New Year’s Celebration!
Congratulations to all of the winners!
ReplyDeleteTina, today I completed my third short story for the month of December for Woman's World. You and your excellent course have inspired me.
Ruthy, I'm in love with Red Kettle Christmas!
THREE IN ONE MONTH?? Oh, my goodness, Jill. You are amazing. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tina! It's because of you...you created the spark, now I'm determined! xo
ReplyDeleteI am a slacker. I am a slacker. Must go take my own advice.
ReplyDeleteYou...are not a slacker, you're an inspiration!
ReplyDelete:) Thanks, Jill!
ReplyDeleteTina, you don't qualify for 'slacker status' until you work something less than 90 hours a week.
ReplyDeleteI think we need VINCE to take over Seekerville and wrap up our New Years Eve Celebration. I vote YES!!!
ReplyDeleteConnealy, next to you and Ruthy, 90 % of the planet is a couch potato. Large. With extra butter.
ReplyDeleteVince in charge of Seekerville from midnight EST to midnight PST. I can get behind that. Easy.
ReplyDelete(I'll be asleep. Did I mention that?)
I hadn't been on Seekerville for a while, to be honest, and I popped in to comment on the balanced (or not-so-balanced!) life and ended up winning. Wow, thanks! And congrats to all the other winners!
ReplyDeleteI do intend to be in Seekerville more often come the first of the year (or the New Year's Eve bash, unless other plans are made in the household). Writing is going up the priority list to HIGH instead of low. For once!
I have an older Nook, but it works just fine. :D So would love to have my name thrown into the ring for an e-book.
Blessings, and thanks! :)
I read on my Kindle a lot and look forward to reading many of the books listed in Seekerville.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners! And wishing all y'all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't get an e-reader for Christmas this year, but I did a few years ago. I would love to have my name put in the hat, please.
Thank you! :)
~Mippy/Sabrina :)
How did I not comment yesterday???? I was here at about 5:30 AM....
ReplyDelete(puzzles...)
We had our family Christmas so I wasn't on the computer after that... and I had so much fun! CRAZY FUN!.
Oh. I know. I went to a link and then grabbed part of what the blogger said and put it into my Tuesday post because it fit perfectly and then had to wrap presents!!!!!
Mystery solved!
Mary Hicks, you are too smart by half. Because I ALWAYS feel like I should feel guilty....
ReplyDeleteBut I don't! And then I'm kind of half-ashamed that I don't.
We are now BFFs.
Changing the New Year's Eve hours was clutch because we know Ruthy crashes early... And Audra's a few time zones away so it won't keep her up late either!!!!
ReplyDeleteNote to all: self-protection of writing time takes precedence!!!!! ;)
VINCE!!!!!Yes! Do it!!!! You can ring it in, absolutely!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd while I love New York City, it's got nothing to do with that, and everything to do with January 1 writing schedule... I'm alone that day and I get to write in the peace and quiet of the moment!
Unless my baby granddaughter gets born that day, in which case... we babysit her brother and sister!!!!
Yes, come in and take over! That's the perfect solution!
I LOVE MY KEURIG, ELAINE MANDERS!!!!
ReplyDeleteDying laughing here, Radcliffe!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are as far removed from Slackerdom as can be humanly possible.
My fun, exciting, crazy week of Christmas winds down today. Time to breathe and write this week, even though back to day job. Day job is easier than Christmas, LOL!!!!
Congrats to the winners...
ReplyDeleteplease toss me into the hat :)
Happy New Year!
Looking forward to New Year
ReplyDeleteEve's at Seekerville....and will be nice for Vince to wind it up!
I do have a Kindle, and looks like I will be reading on it only due to painful arthritic wrists (?) Toss me into the hat!
You are all in the snowman's hat!!
ReplyDeleteI love that we're using a snowman's hat!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell done, Radcliffe!
Hi Tina & Ruth:
ReplyDeleteI’d be honored to take over party duties from Ruth and Audra after 12 midnight EST. Just send me my instructions (via email). On New Year’s Eve I’ll be watching how to do the hosting by learning from the experts. I’ll even try to channel Ruth. : )
BTW: I’m reading, “Her Holiday Family,” and there are so many ‘Tina’ and ‘Radcliffe’ mentions that there is no way I’m ever going to think that anyone other than Tina wrote that book. Sorry. Deduct one from the 39. :)
SPOILER! Also, I’m totally hooked on that story because the hero just expressed his desire to have three to four children with the heroine and the book is not even halfway done!!! There must be some real serious black moments in store! (Actually, I don't see this as a spoiler. It's a powerful coming attraction. It makes me think of the Alan Jackson song, "Nothing Left to do after you've done it." Where does the story go from here? That's a cliffhanger from a writing POV!)
Vince
Wonderful WE! Love the snowmen! We're besieged with rain in Georgia! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners!
Is everyone excited about the New Year's Eve Seekerville Bash! What fun! Can't wait!
Also can't believe 2014 is almost over. Where has the year gone?
Hugs and love and pre-New Year's Eve cheer to all!
I'm reading it too, Vince! And loving it!!!
ReplyDeleteVince, I think that's a part they wanted taken out and I said no... because I thought it was cute, and what a guy would say when he's convinced he's met his once-in-a-lifetime match... Unless I kill her off and find ANOTHER once in a lifetime match for him/her!!! :)
ReplyDeleteDON'T YOU LOVE TINA???? DOES SHE REMIND YOU OF ANYONE????? A LITTLE BOSSY, ADORABLE, STUBBORN????
HUH????
ANYONE AT ALL?????? :)
I fell in love with Max... and Jenny and Charlie.
ReplyDeleteSIGH....
Wow. Did anyone else read the 12 Publishing And Marketing Predictions For 2015? Interesting. Thanks for that link in particular, Tina!
ReplyDeleteAnd a second to Tracey's mention of how good the parmesan crusted chicken is -- that it's so easy to make just adds to how much I like it.
Congrats to all the winners! Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.
Nancy C
Congratulations to the winners.
ReplyDeleteGreat selections you are giving away. How does one enter for them.
Congrats, everyone!! I have an e-reader and would love to win a new Christmas book!! Thank you so much!!
