  25. Great WE! Please put my name in for a Rita finalist book. Thank you! Congratulations on another WW sale. What happened to Monday's update? You started with Tuesday. Mary was here. Thanks for a great WE! Woke up to snow but just a little bit but enough to keep me from running. It's been cold and rainy here. Ready for some sun!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Good morning Seekerville! WOW, TINA! Another jam-packed weekend edition! It took going to several stores after work last night, but I found your Woman's World--LOVE the story!! Delightful!

Edits were in my inbox for my November book when I got home last night, so we all know what I'LL be doing this weekend! :)

Have a GREAT day, everyone--and keep up the momentum on those lessons learned during Speedbo!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I normally wouldn't go near a Walmart on a weekend, but for you TINA and your WW story I'll brave the crowds and do it, don't want to miss this one. Maybe you'll become their resident romance writer :)

You think people skim the WE?! What sacrilege! I always enjoy the WE edition/links with my tall cup of joe first thing. Please toss my name in the bowl for the RITA finalist book drawing, thank you.

    Happy Saturday everyone!

  31. I am bummed. Our Super Walmart didn't have this Woman's World. It had the 4/11 version.

Tina, what's the date on yours?

Am I too late or too early? I thought it came out Thursday....

And I will go back to Super Walmart for you, darling!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Okay, I'm back to editing. Going for 10 more pages and then another coat of primer where I am (this will offend some...) covering up antique wood trim with PAINT.

I know, I know, it's hard to imagine, but this room is getting a "sunny" makeover and that includes the dark brown woodwork. If I'm living in a 6 month gray-ish climate, I'm determined to make my little oasis of sunshine inside! :)

Back when ten pages... and the second coat of primer... are done!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Happy Saturday, Seekerville! Wow, it's been a crazy week for me. Project Guy conned me into painting the laundry room after we had to raise the cabinet so our new washer lid would open all the way. Then yesterday he had cataract surgery, which went great--YAY--but basically that means I lost three writing days. Hoping to make up for it with some writing time today--if Project Guy will leave me alone for a few hours!!!

Congrats to TINA on another WW sale--must get to the supermarket and pick up a copy!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Congratulations Winners! Have a great weekend!

Please put my name in the WE Edition bowl for a copy of your choice of any RWA RITA 2016 finalist book in the inspirational category as available on Amazon in print or ebook.

Now, Tina! How could you accuse any of us of skimming? I am shocked! *wink wink. So since I didn't skimmed, please throw my name in the WE bowl!

Looks like another interesting and FUN week(s) coming for authors and at Seekerville! I'll be here checking it out for sure!

    Thanks! Happy weekend!

  36. Another great WE, Miss T! :)
CONGRATS to all the winners, and YAY for Seekerville - - the BEST place for writers AND readers!

Well, I grabbed up the April 11 copy of WW thinking Tina's story was in it, but it was someone else. Echoing what Ruthy said - - hope I haven't missed it!

Please enter me in the RITA Inspy Finalist drawing. #notaskimmer (LOL) ;)

It is a GORGEOUS (although super windy!) day here in my Georgia neighborhood - - wish I could share this weather with those in rainy, snowy, etc. weather.

Please enjoy the cinnamon rolls I just took from the oven (some without raisins, some with - - personally I LOVE raisins, LOL).
Hugs to all my Seekerville friends, Patti Jo

  37. P.S. This isn't writing-related but wanted to share, hehe....the sweet kitty I'm holding in my photo is Sully (Sullivan is his real name but we call him Sully). Yesterday he and his brother Isaiah had their surgeries, so I was prepared for them to be really calm and laid-back today as I write. Nope, you'd never know they had surgery, LOL - - playing and acting their usual kitten-selves! Never a dull moment in CatMom's home. ;) (But these felines help me with my empty nest *sigh*).
Okay, back to writing!! Happy Saturday!! Hugs, PJ

  38. RWA RITA book - count me in. Congrats to all the finalists #NeverSkimSeekerville. Ready to write this weekend - thanks for the encouragement.

    ReplyDelete
  41. No skimming for me, Tina! Throw my name in the hat, bowl, or doggie dish you're using this week for one of the RWA finalists books.

That out of the way, CONGRATULATIONS FOR OVER 2 MILLION VIEWS!!!! That is totally amazing in the cyber world. But I shouldn't be surprised. You're the best site for writers ever!! So much great info, encouragement, and community. Love you all and wish everyone achieves their goals this year.

And Tina, you deserve a special gold star for another great WE!! You rock, girl! :)

  42. LOL, Tina. I was really name dropping there, wasn't I, ? Couldn't help myself, Tina, because you're just that noteworthy and amazing, Tina. Have a great day, Tina.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Tina's story is in the April 18 issue of Woman's World. It wasn't stocked at Walmart yet last evening (still had April 11), but the grocery store nearby had the new one. So I imagine it will be out most places this weekend or at least by Monday.

    ReplyDelete
  44. PATTI JO -- I guess you can't keep a good kitty down!!! Sounds as if the surgery didn't faze them in the least! Sully's such cutie. :)

    ReplyDelete
  45. SALLY -- No snow here in the Arizona high country (except up on the tops of mountains), but we did get MUCH-NEEDED rain yesterday and 70% chance of more tomorrow. YAY.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Congratulations Tina and I love seeing everyone's good news! I'm a week late, but I just met my Speedbo goal of delivering materials and videos and marketing info for the new website to my tech people. Still two more projects but this was the goals and I appreciate all the support and initiative here to GET IT DONE! Now to recover, get organized once more, and set goals for manuscript no. two!

And it looks like I'll be at ACFW, RWA in San Diego (woot!), and SCWBI Los Angeles (for children's through YA writers) this summer. Hope to connect with some of you there!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Mary gave away free books to everyone on Monday, Sally. I should put that up.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Terrific, Elizabeth. Congratulations!!!!!! WOOT!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Patti Jo and Ruthy, Tina's issue is April 18. Your stores are running behind or mine is running ahead.

Oops, just read the comments further down and saw that Glynna shared the date of Tina's issue.

Tina, I loved your story! I'm always amazed how you boil down a romance into a page.

    Janet

  57. Great links!! Thanks, everyone, for sharing! And thank you Tina for compiling it.

Congrats to our winners, too! I hope you're all having a great weekend. It's gorgeous here, even if a little cool. If you're watching the Masters golf tournament, then you're seeing a little of our view around here with the azaleas in full bloom. (I live about 2 hours from Augusta.)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Tina, I went to the grocery on Thursday to get the magazine, but the old one was still there. I need to go back! Better yet, I may just subscribe. :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Thanks for the great WE, Tina, and the Dragnet prize :-) And congratulations to all the other winners!! I just picked up the WW with your story in it, can't wait to read it!! Off to read the links now.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Please enter my name for a Rita finalist book. I've had "A Noble Masquerade" on my reading list for a while now. And speaking of lists, just finished "Glimmer of hope" and "more than a promise." Loved them both. Ruthy, this is the first book of yours I've had the pleasure of reading and I really enjoyed it. There are so many things I liked about it, but one of them was the way you described those boys. A very frenetic first scene in the church service. I felt Matt's pain. And great characterization.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Deb H, Laura and Lara! You are all in!! Thanks for picking up WW.

    ReplyDelete
  67. TINA...you really think I would skim any of your posts?
Thanks for another super dooper WE. Congratulations to all the winners. I'm off to check out the Harlequin link as I've been buying those A LOT!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Congrats to the winners!!!

Cool Tina about the magazine! That's fun. =D I think celebrating with Tiramisu Macarons would be appropriate (or kit-kats). ;)

An April scavenger hunt - I've never heard of this. It sound fun!

Tina and Mary - I GOT MY BOOK TODAY on writing!!!!!!! :) Ya'll are really making me look forward to checking my mail. :) Thank you.

I've decided to work the A to Z Challenge into my blog planning. It's kind of fun..and kind of... challenging!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Please enter me in the drawing for a Rita finalist book. Sorry I am so late checking in. I have been at a Ladies Retreat! I even felt like walking on a hike to a waterfall. I decided to wait for another year to conquer my fear of the zipline since I have had so many health issues. It has been an awesome weekend. I'll check out the links tomorrow. I need to get to bed. I have only been home an hour but I am very tired.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Thanks for another wonderful Weekend Edition, Tina, and congrats on your 14th story published in Women's World!!

Congrats to Seekerville for being among the top 101 websites for writers for the 4th year in a row - each of you are more than deserving of the honor!! Looking forward to another wonderful week with you.

Please drop my name in the drawing for my choice of a Rita 2016 finalist book - thank you so much!!

  75. You mock me with your Instagram app (ps I had to think and think to come up with the word app)

    ReplyDelete
  76. Oh my stars, I was trying to get away from Instagram convo!!!!!

    (ducks head, hides...)

This is reason enough to keep my very dumb smart phone because it cannot support Instagram!

    SMARTNESS PREVAILS!!!!

The problem with my brilliant rationale is that it doesn't support ANYTHING....

    Dumbest "smart" phone ever built.

And now Tina is tempting me with iPhone 6 and the Risen Lord....

    :)

    ReplyDelete
  77. Elizabeth! Yay for you!!!!! I will be at ACFW in the lobby, slugging coffee and chatting the ears off of anyone who happens to get within shouting distance, so beware the Ruthinator!!!!

And yes, do approach and grab in hugs and laughter even if there is a laptop in evidence. It's clearly a prop!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Lara! I'm so glad you read it and enjoyed it. I love "More Than a Promise", the boys are a hoot and scene stealers for sure.... and I modeled them after three kids I know, so I'm lovingly exploiting children I've helped raise.... #fringebenefitofdayjob

But mostly I love that Matt and Elle found true love through sacrificial love, and their romance is a favorite of mine, probably because there's so much reality in it... Thank you!!!!

And thank you for the public shout out!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Bonnie! Thank you for your kind words.... and I can't wait to meet you this summer at the Christian Reader's Retreat in Nashville! PARTY!!!!!!!!

  91. Just got a fortune I'm willing to share: "You are capable, competent. Creative. Careful. Prove it." (Maybe just scratch the "careful" ... Or at least keep it in moderation.) Happy writing!

  94. I want to read all the RITA nominated inspiration novels. Congrats to the finalists!

I thought I left a comment yesterday, but it's disappeared. What's up with that? Hmmm? The case of the missing comment...an edge-of-your-seat Seekerville suspense.

It was cold in GA today, but the temp is finally rising a bit. Near frost last night. I know some folks have snow and ice. I'm not complaining...just stating a fact.

Tina, I couldn't find WW last week. Hate missing one of your wonderful stories. I'm afraid my favorite grocery store is no longer carrying the magazine. Must talk to the lady who handles books and magazines.

Congrats to all the winners. Excited about the great blog posts next week.

  95. I enjoyed the post. I wasn't skimming but I do have a very short memory. It is a tough choice as to which book I would pick.

LOL, MYRA ... soooo glad "Project Guy's" surgery went well, my friend, and hopefully it will slow him down enough for you to get some writing in! ;)

Had my daughter and SIL in for the weekend from B-Ham, so it was busy, but wonderful, and we both have new clothes and mani/pedis!

    HUGS!!
