And... Wow! Thank you for this week's giveaway win. Thrilled! (Also, I did see the opportunity to be put in next WE's giveaway drawing, but since I just won, please don't toss my name in for that one so someone else has a chance to win. :) )
So appreciate the great links you've shared. I echo Jeanne--Seekerville is such a blessing. Thank you for the tremendous encouragement.
Happy Weekend to all!
Yeah, Tina the Pumper. LOL. You are in the hat, box, whatever it is, Melissa.
ReplyDeleteHelen, I long for your coffee. LOOONG for it.
ReplyDeleteXXXXXX
You are in Sandy Smith, dear. Writing = $ = eating fat peanut butter and honey sandwiches.
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet. Thank you, Jeanne!!! Hugs to you as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cynthia and you were truly a wonderful and inspiring diva. The pleasure was all ours. DIVA ON!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations all round I'd say.
ReplyDeleteCount me in thank you.
Hi Mary Preston. Count you in for what? exactly?????
ReplyDeleteI am paying attention, TINA. Thank you for another great WE. CONGRATS on the WW story 14. That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend everyone!
I wasn't skimming, so please put my name in the hat for one of the Inspirational Rita nominated books. Because we should be reading them all. Right?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on another sale to Woman's World! I'm tempted to try writing a short story some day. I wrote one at a Christmas about a a Gingerbread couple, but trust me it isn't going to be published by anyone?
Great WE! Several links I need to check out.
LOLOL. Thanks, Lyndee.
ReplyDeleteA gingerbread couple. Did they come to a tragic end??
ReplyDeleteYou are in, Terri.
I let them live happily ever after. I could do a horror sequel where they are eaten!
DeleteI wasn't skimming Tina and would love to have my name thrown into the hat.
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you for all the links to visit. I always look forward to the.
May you all have a blessed weekend!

I can't believe anyone would skim the WE.
ReplyDeleteWHO WOULD DO THAT?????? :)
And I popped into a couple of articles, but now must start editing again.
Tina, THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!
I love the WE, it's such a great forum and a chance to kick-back, check out the news of the day and drink coffee while celebrating SATURDAY!!!!!
LET'S HEAR IT FOR SATURDAY!!!!!!!
Raising a mug for youse, and any one of those finaling books sounds like an absolute winner for the winner!
Going to Walmart today for coffee, cream and Woman's World.
ReplyDeleteTHREE ESSENTIALS.
No skimming here. Please put me in the WE hat. Congrats Tina. You are an inspiration to all of us!
ReplyDeleteIt's a SNOWY April morning in northern Ohio...4 inches of a very beautiful white blanket. The crocus are very confused.
Great WE, Tina! It's hard to believe were almost 100 days into the year...crazy!
ReplyDeleteNice job on another WW publication. I plan to pick up my copy today and study my notes from your class once again. Thanks again for the "save" this week!
I'm not a skimmer, I'd love to be entered.
I'm a word for word reader. Congrats on the Woman's World issue out on the shelf. I checked the other day in Walmart, it was not there yet. I am also sending Kudo's to all the finalists. I hope they celebrate big time. Throw me into the WE bowl too. Wishing everyone a great weekend and a prolific writing week to come.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a skimmer either.....so please put me in for WE Edition bowl.....THANKS. Hoping to find the WW at a store this weekend...Congrats, Tina.
ReplyDeleteYes, Seekerville is such a blessing! Happy Weekend to all!
SOOOO many people to congratulate!
ReplyDeleteTina, congrats on your new WW sale. I had to dig through the rack at our Dollar Store, but I found it. And I put another copy to the front of the stack. :)
Congratulations to the RITA finalists! Please add my name to the drawing. Thanks!
I hope you all enjoy your 100th day of the year! I'm going to write this morning while hubby's at work, and then we're going shopping for shower gifts.
Great WE! Please put my name in for a Rita finalist book. Thank you! Congratulations on another WW sale. What happened to Monday's update? You started with Tuesday. Mary was here. Thanks for a great WE! Woke up to snow but just a little bit but enough to keep me from running. It's been cold and rainy here. Ready for some sun!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Seekerville! WOW, TINA! Another jam-packed weekend edition! It took going to several stores after work last night, but I found your Woman's World--LOVE the story!! Delightful!
ReplyDeleteEdits were in my inbox for my November book when I got home last night, so we all know what I'LL be doing this weekend! :)
Have a GREAT day, everyone--and keep up the momentum on those lessons learned during Speedbo!
I normally wouldn't go near a Walmart on a weekend, but for you TINA and your WW story I'll brave the crowds and do it, don't want to miss this one. Maybe you'll become their resident romance writer :)
ReplyDeleteYou think people skim the WE?! What sacrilege! I always enjoy the WE edition/links with my tall cup of joe first thing. Please toss my name in the bowl for the RITA finalist book drawing, thank you.
Happy Saturday everyone!
I wasn't skimming! Please enter me in the book giveaway.
ReplyDeletenot skimming :) put my name in the WE Edition bowl..
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend all!
14 sales to Women's World!!!! TINA, you rock!! Will get the latest issue.
ReplyDeleteRita finalists inspirational books are always worth a read! Great prize opp.
Thanks for the links. Congrats to the winners.
Seekerville is on Instagram! Love that Seekerville was named one of the 101 Best Writer sites!!!
One of my favorite parts of the WE is seeing all the smiling faces of Villagers!
Happy Weekend!
Janet
I am bummed. Our Super Walmart didn't have this Woman's World. It had the 4/11 version.
ReplyDeleteTina, what's the date on yours?
Am I too late or too early? I thought it came out Thursday....
And I will go back to Super Walmart for you, darling!!!!!
Okay, I'm back to editing. Going for 10 more pages and then another coat of primer where I am (this will offend some...) covering up antique wood trim with PAINT.
ReplyDeleteI know, I know, it's hard to imagine, but this room is getting a "sunny" makeover and that includes the dark brown woodwork. If I'm living in a 6 month gray-ish climate, I'm determined to make my little oasis of sunshine inside! :)
Back when ten pages... and the second coat of primer... are done!
Happy Saturday, Seekerville! Wow, it's been a crazy week for me. Project Guy conned me into painting the laundry room after we had to raise the cabinet so our new washer lid would open all the way. Then yesterday he had cataract surgery, which went great--YAY--but basically that means I lost three writing days. Hoping to make up for it with some writing time today--if Project Guy will leave me alone for a few hours!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to TINA on another WW sale--must get to the supermarket and pick up a copy!
Congratulations Winners! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletePlease put my name in the WE Edition bowl for a copy of your choice of any RWA RITA 2016 finalist book in the inspirational category as available on Amazon in print or ebook.
Congratulations to all the Rita Inspy finalists!! And congrats to all the winners this week! Some happy reading for sure!
ReplyDeleteNow, Tina! How could you accuse any of us of skimming? I am shocked! *wink wink. So since I didn't skimmed, please throw my name in the WE bowl!
Looks like another interesting and FUN week(s) coming for authors and at Seekerville! I'll be here checking it out for sure!
Thanks! Happy weekend!
Another great WE, Miss T! :)
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS to all the winners, and YAY for Seekerville - - the BEST place for writers AND readers!
Well, I grabbed up the April 11 copy of WW thinking Tina's story was in it, but it was someone else. Echoing what Ruthy said - - hope I haven't missed it!
Please enter me in the RITA Inspy Finalist drawing. #notaskimmer (LOL) ;)
It is a GORGEOUS (although super windy!) day here in my Georgia neighborhood - - wish I could share this weather with those in rainy, snowy, etc. weather.
Please enjoy the cinnamon rolls I just took from the oven (some without raisins, some with - - personally I LOVE raisins, LOL).
Hugs to all my Seekerville friends, Patti Jo
P.S. This isn't writing-related but wanted to share, hehe....the sweet kitty I'm holding in my photo is Sully (Sullivan is his real name but we call him Sully). Yesterday he and his brother Isaiah had their surgeries, so I was prepared for them to be really calm and laid-back today as I write. Nope, you'd never know they had surgery, LOL - - playing and acting their usual kitten-selves! Never a dull moment in CatMom's home. ;) (But these felines help me with my empty nest *sigh*).
ReplyDeleteOkay, back to writing!! Happy Saturday!! Hugs, PJ
RWA RITA book - count me in. Congrats to all the finalists #NeverSkimSeekerville. Ready to write this weekend - thanks for the encouragement.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't skimming! :) LOL Now my browser has too many tabs open--love all the helpful articles ya'll share here. I think my favorite though was the proposal one this week. Timely and needed for me.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the finalists!! =D
Happy Weekend, Seekers and Seekervillagers!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Seekerville, on making the Writers Digest 101 Best Websites for Writers list for the fourth time!!!! It's easy to see why. Seekerville rocks!
Congratulations, Tina, on your latest Woman's World sale, Tina! I'll snag a copy of the issue at the supermarket. You rock!
Great job on the WE, Tina. I read every word. No skimming here. =)
Lots of great posts to look forward to this coming week.
No skimming for me, Tina! Throw my name in the hat, bowl, or doggie dish you're using this week for one of the RWA finalists books.
ReplyDeleteThat out of the way, CONGRATULATIONS FOR OVER 2 MILLION VIEWS!!!! That is totally amazing in the cyber world. But I shouldn't be surprised. You're the best site for writers ever!! So much great info, encouragement, and community. Love you all and wish everyone achieves their goals this year.
And Tina, you deserve a special gold star for another great WE!! You rock, girl! :)
LOL, Tina. I was really name dropping there, wasn't I, ? Couldn't help myself, Tina, because you're just that noteworthy and amazing, Tina. Have a great day, Tina.
ReplyDeleteTina's story is in the April 18 issue of Woman's World. It wasn't stocked at Walmart yet last evening (still had April 11), but the grocery store nearby had the new one. So I imagine it will be out most places this weekend or at least by Monday.
ReplyDeletePATTI JO -- I guess you can't keep a good kitty down!!! Sounds as if the surgery didn't faze them in the least! Sully's such cutie. :)
ReplyDeleteSALLY -- No snow here in the Arizona high country (except up on the tops of mountains), but we did get MUCH-NEEDED rain yesterday and 70% chance of more tomorrow. YAY.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Tina and I love seeing everyone's good news! I'm a week late, but I just met my Speedbo goal of delivering materials and videos and marketing info for the new website to my tech people. Still two more projects but this was the goals and I appreciate all the support and initiative here to GET IT DONE! Now to recover, get organized once more, and set goals for manuscript no. two!
ReplyDeleteAnd it looks like I'll be at ACFW, RWA in San Diego (woot!), and SCWBI Los Angeles (for children's through YA writers) this summer. Hope to connect with some of you there!
Mary gave away free books to everyone on Monday, Sally. I should put that up.
ReplyDeleteThe Boden Birthright
You came, you saw, you didn't skim! You are in for the WE ED giveaway.
ReplyDeleteJackie Layton, thanks for doing that!!! You rock.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne, WW comes out on Thursday. Some stores are slow and put them out on Friday. Thanks for looking.
Jill! Yes. A story for WW. You can do it.
Patti Jo, so glad kitties are well and playing again. My Charlie is my baby too.
ReplyDeletehahaha Meghan G. Hubs came in once or twice to see me with like 20 browsers open. IT guy says, "No wonder you computer is slow." hahaha
ReplyDeleteApparently you all passed the I NEVER SKIM TEST. I should have known.
ReplyDeleteTerrific, Elizabeth. Congratulations!!!!!! WOOT!!
ReplyDeletePatti Jo and Ruthy, Tina's issue is April 18. Your stores are running behind or mine is running ahead.
ReplyDeleteOops, just read the comments further down and saw that Glynna shared the date of Tina's issue.
Tina, I loved your story! I'm always amazed how you boil down a romance into a page.
Janet
Elizabeth, I'll be at ACFW. Looking forward to hooking up with you and other attendees.
ReplyDeleteJanet
Yay Janet! Will be nice to finally meet you in person!
ReplyDeleteGreat links!! Thanks, everyone, for sharing! And thank you Tina for compiling it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to our winners, too! I hope you're all having a great weekend. It's gorgeous here, even if a little cool. If you're watching the Masters golf tournament, then you're seeing a little of our view around here with the azaleas in full bloom. (I live about 2 hours from Augusta.)
Tina, I went to the grocery on Thursday to get the magazine, but the old one was still there. I need to go back! Better yet, I may just subscribe. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL Patti Jo on the #notaskimmer Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteI'm relieved to see how many of you caught Tina's comment. :)
And Cindy has a hashtag too! :)
ReplyDeletePut me in the WE edition bowl please. No skimming here! So much information I have to go slow.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, Seekerville!
Congratulations to Tina on the Woman's World magazine sales.
ReplyDelete(And I read the whole post - please enter me in the bowl for the book.)
Beth and Tanya, you are in!!!!
ReplyDeleteTINA congrats on WW sale #14! Gotta go to the store for some things and will be sure to pick up a copy. Thanks for the great WE too. No skimmer here, so I'd like to be in the draw for a Rita finalist book.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I got Glynna's book (my SPEEDBO prize) yesterday, looking forward to reading it this weekend.
Thanks for the great WE, Tina, and the Dragnet prize :-) And congratulations to all the other winners!! I just picked up the WW with your story in it, can't wait to read it!! Off to read the links now.
ReplyDeletePlease enter my name for a Rita finalist book. I've had "A Noble Masquerade" on my reading list for a while now. And speaking of lists, just finished "Glimmer of hope" and "more than a promise." Loved them both. Ruthy, this is the first book of yours I've had the pleasure of reading and I really enjoyed it. There are so many things I liked about it, but one of them was the way you described those boys. A very frenetic first scene in the church service. I felt Matt's pain. And great characterization.
ReplyDeleteDeb H, Laura and Lara! You are all in!! Thanks for picking up WW.
ReplyDeleteTINA...you really think I would skim any of your posts?
ReplyDeleteThanks for another super dooper WE. Congratulations to all the winners. I'm off to check out the Harlequin link as I've been buying those A LOT!
Congrats to the winners!!!
ReplyDeleteCool Tina about the magazine! That's fun. =D I think celebrating with Tiramisu Macarons would be appropriate (or kit-kats). ;)
An April scavenger hunt - I've never heard of this. It sound fun!
Tina and Mary - I GOT MY BOOK TODAY on writing!!!!!!! :) Ya'll are really making me look forward to checking my mail. :) Thank you.
I've decided to work the A to Z Challenge into my blog planning. It's kind of fun..and kind of... challenging!
Have a great Sunday!
Yes. Very cute hashtags. Must go add to our Instagram page.
ReplyDeleteLOL Meg. Toasting you with chocolate.
ReplyDeleteNo skimming here! This was a great posts and all of the RITA FINALISTS INSPY CATEGORY are so deserving!
ReplyDeleteConnie
cps1950(at)gmail(dot)com
Hello, OLDER & SMARTER Connie. Great to have you here. Your name is in the bowl.
ReplyDeletePlease enter me in the drawing for a Rita finalist book. Sorry I am so late checking in. I have been at a Ladies Retreat! I even felt like walking on a hike to a waterfall. I decided to wait for another year to conquer my fear of the zipline since I have had so many health issues. It has been an awesome weekend. I'll check out the links tomorrow. I need to get to bed. I have only been home an hour but I am very tired.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another wonderful Weekend Edition, Tina, and congrats on your 14th story published in Women's World!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Seekerville for being among the top 101 websites for writers for the 4th year in a row - each of you are more than deserving of the honor!! Looking forward to another wonderful week with you.
Please drop my name in the drawing for my choice of a Rita 2016 finalist book - thank you so much!!
You mock me with your Instagram app (ps I had to think and think to come up with the word app)
ReplyDeleteOh my stars, I was trying to get away from Instagram convo!!!!!
ReplyDelete(ducks head, hides...)
This is reason enough to keep my very dumb smart phone because it cannot support Instagram!
SMARTNESS PREVAILS!!!!
The problem with my brilliant rationale is that it doesn't support ANYTHING....
Dumbest "smart" phone ever built.
And now Tina is tempting me with iPhone 6 and the Risen Lord....
:)
Elizabeth! Yay for you!!!!! I will be at ACFW in the lobby, slugging coffee and chatting the ears off of anyone who happens to get within shouting distance, so beware the Ruthinator!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, do approach and grab in hugs and laughter even if there is a laptop in evidence. It's clearly a prop!!!!
Lara! I'm so glad you read it and enjoyed it. I love "More Than a Promise", the boys are a hoot and scene stealers for sure.... and I modeled them after three kids I know, so I'm lovingly exploiting children I've helped raise.... #fringebenefitofdayjob
ReplyDeleteBut mostly I love that Matt and Elle found true love through sacrificial love, and their romance is a favorite of mine, probably because there's so much reality in it... Thank you!!!!
And thank you for the public shout out!
Bonnie! Thank you for your kind words.... and I can't wait to meet you this summer at the Christian Reader's Retreat in Nashville! PARTY!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOlder and Smarter is the name of Connie's Blig! Hahaha. I was not mocking you two.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ruth, I'll come with computer and coffee as well! That will be fun. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a skimmer! Ü
ReplyDeletePlease enter me in the Rita finalist drawing. Thanks!
I'm not a skimmer either! Put my name in the hat for a Rita finalist. Congrats on all the Women's World sales!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a skimmer. Please put my name in the hat for the drawing.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like next week is going to be another great one. Enjoy the rest of your weekend :-)
Welcome to Seekerville Cindi A!! Reader or Writer??

Looking forward to next week's posts!!
Love that y'all are on Instagram!! I'm there too...as tea4kate...see ya!! Anyone on Snap Chat?
Wishing everyone a tea-riffic Sunday!! (I'm watching my grands for a couple of hours...whoo--hooo!!)
Good morning, DEB H! Glad the book arrived. Couldn't send any out earlier as I was still waiting for the arrival of my May release copies! Hope you enjoy Grady & Sunshine's story! :)
ReplyDeleteCINDI A -- I assume that's your horse in the photo? Tell us about him/her! :)
ReplyDeleteJust got back from vacation, and I'm not a skimmer.
ReplyDeleteJust got a fortune I'm willing to share: "You are capable, competent. Creative. Careful. Prove it." (Maybe just scratch the "careful" ... Or at least keep it in moderation.) Happy writing!
ReplyDeleteHey, Kate Barker, you are in.
ReplyDeleteSnapChat..okay, one step at a time. Working on our Tumblr account.
So much social media so little social beingsness.
Love it Lara. Careful is good. LOL.
ReplyDeleteRaining here. It never rains here.
Window is wide open.
I want to read all the RITA nominated inspiration novels. Congrats to the finalists!
ReplyDeleteI thought I left a comment yesterday, but it's disappeared. What's up with that? Hmmm? The case of the missing comment...an edge-of-your-seat Seekerville suspense.
It was cold in GA today, but the temp is finally rising a bit. Near frost last night. I know some folks have snow and ice. I'm not complaining...just stating a fact.
Tina, I couldn't find WW last week. Hate missing one of your wonderful stories. I'm afraid my favorite grocery store is no longer carrying the magazine. Must talk to the lady who handles books and magazines.
Congrats to all the winners. Excited about the great blog posts next week.
I enjoyed the post. I wasn't skimming but I do have a very short memory. It is a tough choice as to which book I would pick.
ReplyDeleteNoooooooooooooo!!! We're not a 100 days into this year already, are we??? Almost a third of the way to Christmas, which FREAKS ME OUT!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, freak-out over!
OH. MY. GOSH!! We're starting our 9th year with 2 million unique page views??? AND our fourth year as a recipient of 101 Best Websites for Writers?? That 9th year freaks me out, too! Where has the time gone???
Okay, I'm going to take a chill pill, I promise!
SUPER CONGRATS TO THE WINNERS AND A BIG HIGH-FIVE TO THE TEENSTER for your amazing 14th sale to WW!
LOL, MYRA ... soooo glad "Project Guy's" surgery went well, my friend, and hopefully it will slow him down enough for you to get some writing in! ;)
Had my daughter and SIL in for the weekend from B-Ham, so it was busy, but wonderful, and we both have new clothes and mani/pedis!
HUGS!!
Julie
Debby, that must be a sign that you need to subscribe.
ReplyDeleteA mani/pedi.
ReplyDeleteI took a shower this weekend. That was my high maintenance.
Not skimming and I love reading all the helpful links every weekend! Please put me in the hat. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners, finalists, and writers of new publications! I will admit to skimming some but did read the paragraph about the giveaway so please enter me! =)
ReplyDeleteLaurie and Katy C, you are in!
ReplyDeleteNo skimming here either Tina.....put my name in the hat!!!! (please & thank you)
ReplyDeleteI'm very interested in "A Noble Masquerade" by Kristi Ann Hunter :-)
COngrats to all the finalists.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance for the RITA drawing!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to see Seekerville on my favorite new social media platform ... I'll actually post more than once a week on Instagram (looking at you, Facebook, LOL).
=)
