That line gave me hope through the years of raising six kids and working two jobs because if Anne of Green Gables could do it... so could Ruthy!!!

A scene from the upcoming movie, SPIDER-MAN REBOOT, was filmed over the lake behind my house last night. So fun to watch! Helicopters, stadium lights turning the dark lake into near daylight, boats, props of a playground lakeside, artificial plants and portable light poles.
ReplyDeleteThey told me I was too close to the water at one point and would be seen in the filming. :) Yes, I did move back into the underbrush.
The big scene seemed to be filmed between 1:30 and 2:30 AM. Chopper overhead. Lights that lit up my living room. Lots of action. By 4 AM, the set was quiet!
Can't wait to see the movie and spot my backyard! :)

And yet, doesn't it all get down to the quality of life? Where would you have rather lived and raised a family? Florence or Switzerland? And note: you would still have had the benefit of the Renaissance and all the great artists as well as a great supply of cuckoo clocks in Geneva.
