Gobble, Gobble. Hope your holiday weekend is delicious.
ReplyDeleteI'm avoiding the crowds and writing and watching Gilmore Girls. Oh, and hitting Sonic during happy hour for two for one Diet Green Teas with Mango!!! New addiction.
Have a great weekend, readers and writers.
Hey, and Kindle Fire's are on sale on Amazon for 33 bucks.
Fires not Fire's. ARRGH.
ReplyDeleteTina, great WE! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteAnd huge congrats to the winners of everything.... It's always so much fun to win something!
We're celebrating Thanksgiving today. With a big family that's far-flung, we "Create-A-Holiday" and celebrate whenever we can get together... that way on the holiday itself, the kids and grandkids aren't torn trying to rush from here to there...
I love peaceful, fun-filled holidays!
So my holiday continues through tomorrow, and I wish you and yours a beautiful start to the Advent season... I love a "season of waiting"... There's a holiness about it!
And I'm waiting for a slice of pie today, made with BLUE PUMPKINS!!!!
:)
Blue pumpkins? I'm intrigued. Can you post a picture?
DeleteBlue pumpkins? I'm intrigued. Can you post a picture?
DeleteCongratulations to all the winners! I'm thankful we were able to bring my mom home from the hospital. Now she just needs to work on getting her strength back.
ReplyDeleteMay you all be blessed this weekend and through the coming week.
Blessings,
Cindy W.
Tina,
ReplyDeleteThanks for another great WE and congrats to all of the winners!
Cindy W, I'm so glad you're bringing your mother home!
I hope you all have a great weekend!
Yay another weekend edition with winners. Congratulations to all the winners. I love giving away books. Yay!!!
ReplyDeleteTina How funny you're watching Gilmore Girls. I'll have to find those. We've been watching Hallmark Movies. Hubby is so sweet to record them for me. Yay. Sweet romance. My favorite pastime. smile
I'm trying to stay away from all the pies and goodies. Sticking to a turkey sandwich. Yay. Might make up some soup.
Ruthy Are pumpkin pies made with blue pumpkins blue? That would be so cool. They would make a great winter pie with the blue color.
ReplyDeleteHave fun today with your family. We have been celebrating the whole weekend camping with friends.
That's what I wondered too, Ruthy. Is the pie blue?
DeleteCindy So happy that you are bringing your mom home today. Blessings and prayers.
ReplyDeleteStay rested. smile
Good morning, Seekerville! Lots of good reading once again in the W.E.! After almost 2 weeks away, it's good to be back, too!
ReplyDeleteTINA -- do you have that spare room ready for me? Snow moving in tonight and, depending on which forecast you look at, mountain country could get 6-12 inches by Monday morning. I personally vote for the 6--or less! As often happens before a "snow event," it should get up to a balmy 50 today, but a high of only 35 tomorrow and lows in the low teens. Brrrr!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. And I'm glad you mother got to come home, CINDY!
CINDY - I'm so happy to read that you're bringing your mother home today. God is good!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the terrific WE, Tina and congratulations to the winners. By the way, I loved your WW story.
Thank you for this special WE. Congrats to all of the winners!
ReplyDeleteTINA, thank you for another informative Weekend Edition. Next week's lineup sounds great.
ReplyDeleteI'm moving slow this morning after a busy, fun Thanksgiving with our family. I've eaten so much that I only wanted yogurt for breakfast this morning. :-) As we sat at the table on Thanksgiving, our family shared how we'd seen God working in our lives and/or what we're grateful for, always a highlight for me.
Hope you all had a lovely holiday!
Janet
CINDY, it's good news to see that our mom is home with you!
ReplyDeleteJanet
GLYNNA, good to have you back! Hope you don't get all that snow.
ReplyDeleteJanet
I second Sandra's question. I want to see what a pumpkin pie made with blue pumpkins looks like!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving WE everyone. Cindy, I'm so glad you get to bring your mother home. Home is definitely best for getting your strength back.
Glynna, I wish I could take some of your snow - not all - just enough so we each have a nice amount. Wouldn't that be grand?
Janet, I hear you. Just thinking of food at the moment is too much. (Of course I just had a blueberry muffin with my coffee.)
Great week ahead. I hope I can actually manage to drop by before the lights go out each day! #work:(
Glynna, hope you get the "less snow"!! Am expecting your new book to arrive any day and can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteCindy, prayers going up for you and your Mom!
Tina, another GREAT job on WE; can't wait to read your story in WW. BTW the December calendar says 2017.....well, time does fly!
Happy weekend to all!
CATE -- Id LOVE to share the snow! A number of years ago I made a little wooden sign to hang by my front door that says "FREE SNOW! Help yourself!" :) We get over 100 inches each winter.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Weekend, Seekerville! Always fun to check out the interesting links TINA has compiled, plus get a sneak peak at what's in store next week! Also, congrats to all our weekly winners!
ReplyDeleteCINDY, so glad your mom could come home from the hospital. Praying her strength comes back quickly!
GLYNNA, nice to have you back! Not envying your snow predictions, though!
We had a quiet Thanksgiving. Our daughter & family who have been slowly moving in with us over the past month spent the day with our SIL's family. So Project Guy and I went to a movie. Anyone seen Arrival yet? It's very good but quite different. Lots of food for thought!
I hope you enjoy "The Pastor's Christmas Courtship" JACKIE S! Too bad my current WIP isn't a Christmas one--I have a feeling I'm going to get some genuine winter "hands on" inspiration very soon! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, JANET & MYRA! I love watching it snow--just don't care to shovel it when it comes in at the rate of a foot or two overnight or have to drive to work in it. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving weekend everyone. It has been busy for me with celebrating with my family--Thanksgiving on Thursday and Christmas on Friday. We also surprised my dad for his birthday (which is two days after Christmas) by replacing his falling apart recliner with a new one. We all sat around the living room waiting for him to walk in the door. The look on his face was priceless. So we celebrated lots of holidays in just two days. Is it New Year's Eve now? But it was fun.
ReplyDeleteAlso have worked a few hours at the book store. Very busy this weekend, of course. Encouraging to see how many people still want to buy books and give them as gifts!
Cindy, I'm glad you could bring your mom home.
Congratulations to all winners and continued Thanksgiving blessings to everyone! We're off to our THIRD Thanksgiving celebration today. :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners! Enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend! Hope you get all your Christmas decorating and shopping done!
ReplyDeleteI love Thanksgiving! Being with family is always so special. Today is our grandson's 9th birthday so we're still celebrating! Son-in-law cooked a turkey in his Green Egg and daughter cooked a second bird in the oven in order to make gravy. Both so yummy! I'm still stuffed!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had rain in GA in so long, and the leaves still look beautiful. Gorgeous reds and oranges. The temp dropped today. Seems our mild fall is over, although who could complain. It's almost Christmas!
Gobble, goggle, gobble! Sending warm hugs and love from my home to yours!
Tina, thanks for the info about the great buys on Kindle Fires!
ReplyDeletePraying for your mom, Cindy! Glad she's home.
ReplyDeletePraying here, too, Cindy. It's nice that she can be with you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on the Kindle Fires, Tina. I have one and loooooove it, if anyone is wondering. It's actually faster to use than my laptop for shopping on the Web. Could be dangerous, though. Especially on cyber Monday, hahahaha.
HAPPY THXGIVING WEEKEND, ALL!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thxgiving and stayed FAR from the "madding" mall crowds ... or at least I did! Basic rule of thumb: Never ... and I repeat, NEVER should a CDQ go to a mall on Black Friday!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Lessman Thxgiving get-together was AWESOME, and we all have SO much for which to be grateful! And my daughter's dessert was a hit -- YUM!! It's an award-winning recipe (yes, I won an award for it in a pie contest!) I made up using my favorite desserts. It's called Apple-Cranberry Crisp Cheesecake Pie, and it's TO DIE FOR! AND ... to "diet" for as well ... :(
Tina, those diet green teas with mango actually sound pretty darn good. I absolutely LOVE Sonic's cherry limeade, but haven't had one in a while since Keith is not too keen on Sonic. Sigh.
And, GILMORE GILS, YES!!! I need to tune out Hallmark and tune in Lorelai and Rory, so thanks for the reminder.
Tina, SUPER CONGRATS on yet ANOTHER Women's World sale, my friend -- you are AMAZING!!
Hugs,
Julie
I hope you all had or are having aa awesome Thanksgiving season/day. We're settling into our lovely winter home.
ReplyDeleteTINA...you are like the energizer bunny. How do you get everything done? YOU ROCK. Thank you for another great WE!
Congratulations to all the winners.
Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving weekend. I came home last night after spending a couple weeks with my parents. We went out for Thanksgiving dinner. I am still enjoying the food I brought home in a box from the meal. As I walked out of the restaurant. I looked up at the sky. It was blue and full of puffy white clouds. I teared up in thankfulness to God that after a month of smoke and not being able to see the sky, it looked so beautiful. How could I have taken for granted something so simple as the sky. The Lord is so good. The fires are still burning where I live but they are for the most part contained.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners this week.
How is everyone coming with their Nano novel. I rejoiced when I hit 15 k last night. It is still feasible to reach the goal of 50k. I will try but even if I don't make it, I will still have written more than if I hadn't tried. Sometimes life just happens.
Happy Thanksgiving Weekend to everyone. Congratulations to last week's winners. Tina, loved, loved your short story in WW. Easy to see why you sell there so frequently. I still sub occasionally. Thanks too for the WE and the links. I haven't been commenting much as of late, but read the blog posts frequently.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners! Hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving! Spent the day helping set up Christmas decorations and doing my chores. I am so not ready to go back to school on Monday (insert uncontrollable sobbing here) already counting down the days until Christmas break.
ReplyDeleteSnagged a copy of your Woman's World, TINA! Cute story! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the increased wood count, WILANI!
Snagged a copy of your Woman's World, TINA! Cute story! :)

ReplyDeleteGreat WE as always, Miss T!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS to all the winners, and CONGRATS to TINA on yet another Woman's World story!! YAY!! Must get this copy very soon! :)
Hope everyone had a delightful Thanksgiving and will enjoy a blessed Christmas season (still wondering how 2016 has zipped so quickly!?!).
Holiday Hugs to all, Patti Jo :)
p.s. GLYNNA KAYE, have loved loved loved your book THE PASTOR'S CHRISTMAS COURTSHIP - - oh my!! What a wonderful story!! No wonder I'm a big Glynna Kaye FAN!! :) About to leave a 5-Star review!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Patti Jo :)
Thank you, PATTI JO! So happy you enjoyed Jodi and Garrett's story!! :) I had so much fun writing it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a lovely weekend, and happy celebrating, everyone!
ReplyDeleteThank you, everyone. That was a fun story to write. And my Woman's World editor did some tweaking to make that story really shine. Love a good editor.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the winners and I have to say thank you so much for the wonderful win. I am very, very excited.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a wonderful weekend edition, I look forward to some serious reading as I have spent the past few days cleaning after Thanksgiving....well that and watching Hallmark movies...sigh.
I am really looking forward to reading "When Your Calling Flatlines." The crazy changes in my life over the past two years really threw a lot of water on my fire, but those embers are still there!
Congratulations Tina on another awesome Woman's World story. I regularly flip open Woman's World at the register to see if you are present and if so...totally snag it!
Blessings to you all. Have a wonderful week!
Congratulations to all the weekly winners. Thanks for the WE, Tina, and BIG congrats on another WW story...I'll be picking it up tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteCindy, praying for your mom's healing and praying for all the NaNo writers to complete their goals.
This afternoon, I'll be checking the links...and the posts I missed the last couple of weeks......and trying to work off the Thanksgiving mashed potatoes...my holiday indulgence. Treadmill time. Blue pumpkin pie?!?! Hmmm....
Blessings to all on this last day of the Thanksgiving weekend...and the first day of Advent season.
Home after a lovely, long weekend with my eldest and her family! I hope everyone had a joyous Thanksgiving. We did. Plus, as I mentioned yesterday, we celebrated a grandchild's birthday, which added to the fun.
ReplyDeleteCynthia, thanks for sending the cute picture. Congrats on being our Birthday Winner!
Tina, I hope to get a copy of WW tomorrow when I go the grocery! Can't wait to read your story!!!
Glynna, I have your book!!! It's on my TBR pile! Hope to get to it soon. Your stories are always delightful!!!
Happy First Day of Advent. Four weeks until Christmas, which seems hard to believe!
CATE, the good thing is I got a lot of steps Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.
ReplyDeleteJanet
GLYNNA, I love snow. Just not too much of it. Do you use a snow blower or is it too deep to handle with a blower?
ReplyDeleteJanet
TINA! The Puppy Love story is delightful! (and what a cute picture with the story)
ReplyDeleteGLYNNA, The Pastor's Christmas Courtship is waiting for me on my iPad. I'll be starting it as soon as I leave Seekerville :-)
Congratulations to all you winners. Hope everyone's had a nice long weekend -- and safe travels.
Nancy C
Glad to see we've made it on this side of Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteSO thankful for Seekerville!
(and turkey with a dollop of cranberry sauce too)
Excited to be hosting on Tuesday and Tina, Tina, Tina... that's PAWMAZING giveaways... Hurumph as May would say. ;)
Safe travels... And congrats to all the winners! Nice Seeker sightings too!!
And if anyone has time and inclination, paws and hands together for finding our missing Anna. We think she was chasing deer, a fave pastime, and ran into unfamiliar territory. She's been gone since 11/25 about 10am... Put out another 30 flyers today.
We KNOW God's in control and He is faithful. Just praying our girl comes home to us safe and sound... And if not, He has another plan and we will abide in His loving care. (But we'd still like her HOME if pawsible!)
Thanks.
Tina, wonderful WE! Congrats on your WW story. I know I'll love it, it has puppies in it. 😀
ReplyDeleteLove your new book cover. I'm anxious to read it.
My baby boy Crosby had eye surgery on Black Friday. Poor puppy. He did get a few bites of turkey to help him prepare for surgery and then to recover.
