  2. I'm the second one to comment?? (I'd normally be in bed now, but...it's been sock-it-to-me time today in the Ozarks with all the storms so I'm still awake.)

OTOH, YAY! SO excited to win a copy of Laurie's With No Reservations! I love HH and the premise for her story sounded so creative. THANK YOU, LAURIE! THANK YOU, SEEKERVILLE!

    Congrats to all winners!

Congrats, TINA and JANET. Holt Medallion Finalists! *throws confetti* That's wonderful! Congrats to RUTHY on huge success with more great book news! (LOVE that pic!) And DEBBY... Congratulations on another book signing! Your Amish Refuge cover is great! How much input did you have for the cover? It really packs a lot of punch and jars the emotions.

I haven't read the Holt Medallion books yet, but I know both are great! :-)

To all authors affected by the recent line closures, I'm praying God will redirect your paths as you move forward to your next stage of success!

    Happy Saturday to all!

    2. Oh, WOW, Cynthia, I slept through it, but then I wear ear plugs because Keith sometimes snores ... ;) But hope you were able to sleep in ... OR are still sleeping in as I write this! :)

And congrats on winning Laurie's book!!

      Hugs,

    3. JULIE, yes, I did sleep. Now, I'm up and at 'em again! AND I've reminded my husband for the hundredth time I want him to retire me on the water. (For some reason, he laughs maniacally when I say this.) Seriously, though-- our plan is to be beach-bound within five years, Lord willing.

Oh, and BTW... Guess what fun we get to have over the summer???? New roof, new garage doors, AND...wait for it. AC fins combed and accounted for. Yaaaay!!!!!! $$$$$$$ *wipes eyes* *sniffle*

YES. I. Need. Coffee. Hugs. And...a book deal would be lovely, too. :-)

And thanks for your prayers for us authors affected by the closing of the HQ lines. It's hard to see LIH end. I loved the ride!

Sorry about all the remodeling, maintenance expense on your house. We've put on a new roof. Hoping the furnace/AC aren't next.

    1. ISN'T THAT SO COOL????
I've been rubbing shoulders with The Nora, Danielle Steele, Tom, John Grisham, Christine Feehan and so many others.... and in the middle are Ruthy Cowboys! And sometimes they're tucked next to me and Glynna and Debby on the Love Inspired end! It's random, but I'm so glad that people are buying them and loving them. Total blessing!

    1. Snowing in Colorado??? Seriously??? WOW. And I thought 67 degrees was chilly for late May ... ;)

      Hugs,
      Julie

    2. I woke up to snow (about a inch) 2 mornings this past week in northern Arizona! Still down in the 20's most nights. But I sure was thankful we didn't get those 1-3 footers that they had in Colorado!

      Delete
    3. The Colorado snow is a reminder of why we don't get too complacent in May. June, yes. May?

      (sigh....)

      No.

  11. OH MY GOSH -- SEEKERVILLE IS S-M-O-K-I-N' this morning with Janet and Tina's Holt final, Ruthy's 2nd week on the ECPA Bestseller list, and Debby with another book signing -- you go, girlfriends!!! And, of course, SUPER CONGRATS to Jan Drexler for her Holt nod as well and to all of our winners this week -- you guys ROCK!!

I am two scenes (could be three, not sure, although this is me, so probably four) away from finishing book 3 in my Isle of Hope series, so I'm EXCITED and can't wait to get it out there.

Ruthy, eggs and bacon (although I haven't had much coffee yet this morning, so it came out in my mind as begs and achin'!) sound wonderful, but I've a bowl of oatmeal with my name on it since my cholesterol is inching up. Sigh.

Happy weekend, all, and hope the sun is shining where you are because it ain't here!! :(

    HUGS,
    Julie

    1. There is a reason I avoid doctors, darling. Because I really don't want to know what's creeping up... or falling down, LOL! So I'm throwing on the bacon (yes, guilty pleasure!!!) and it's cholesterol free bacon. I have no idea if there even is such a thing.... because I am absolutely clueless about it. But I've got chopped nuts to go with your oatmeal!!

    2. Julie, thank you for your congrats! Congrats to you on nearing The End, always a huge achievement!

The sun is trying to come out here. Hope you get the same soon.
