Great weekend! Congratulations to all the winners. Can't wait to see all the pictures from the conference!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun it is to see conference pictures... happy times to all those in attendance!
ReplyDeleteAnd huge congratulations to this week's winners. I'm so happy for you!
We're still in full-throttle pumpkin mode here on the farm, and family coming in this weekend... so I'm wishing you all a lovely first weekend of fall... it's 90 degrees here the next few days, which is not typical September for WNY!!!... but we'll handle it!
A blessed weekend to all.... from the baker/writer/pumpkin grower in New York!!!
NINETY degrees, Ruthy? In upstate NY? Here in the AZ mountains the highs have been about 60 in recent days, with a FREEZE WARNING for tonight! Trees are turning color fast now, too.
DeleteWould LOVE to see your pumpkins! I grew 'punkins' one year when I was in college -- and miniature pumpkins a few times after that. I love all things autumn!
Ruthy, would LOVE to come to your pumpkin farm, my friend -- sounds like SO much fun!! But I draw the line at riding the donkeys ... ;)
DeleteHUGS!!
Julie
Loved seeing the ACFW pics! MARY, you look terrific for someone who had to lay on your face that long. ;-) Hope your flight to ACFW was uneventful.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners this week. Isn't Seekerville fun?!!
MARY, I wish I could have commented on your blog posted yesterday. I had a "Eureka!" moment reading it. So simple and biblical. Thanks for the insights. Definitely a keeper.
Well, back to addressing my editor's comments. Wish I could hang out with you all day. Have a great weekend everyone!
Hope your edits go well, Barbara!
DeleteI'm clicking along, Missy. Miralee's suggestions were terrific! Now I need to finish mowing the front yard. A writer's work is never done. lol
DeleteI won Janice's book. Yay!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love meeting Seekers at the conference! I was only there one day, but had fun.
Connie, I really enjoyed seeing the photo with you in it! I'm glad you got to go!
DeleteGood morning, Seekerville! Yesterday was the first official day of Autumn -- my favorite season, but one that seems to be the shortest of the four seasons with summer heat and winter cold encroaching on both its borders.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your new cover, Tina!! SWEET! That should fly off the shelves!
Thanks for the ACFW pics, ladies! How did you pack that hat for the flight, Mary? Or do you or your cowboy wear it all the way from Nebraska? So cute!
Good morning, Seekerville! Happy Weekend! So much to do and so little time. The cockles of my heart are warmed by those ACFW pictures.
ReplyDeleteIt made me a little envious I couldn't attend. Hmmm, is that one of the 7 deadly sins? If so, I beg your forgiveness. So happy for all of you who got a chance to go!
DeleteLooks like you're going to be one busy lady, Julie!
ReplyDeleteAnd Debby--Moonlight and Magnolias time already! Have fun!
Hard to believe it's almost here, Glynna! And Cara will be there along with Missy!!! Can't wait to see them!
DeleteI know, Glynna! I thought the same thing about Julie's busy schedule! But so fun!
DeleteI'm so looking forward to M&M! My first conference in a couple of years. :)
MISSY, there will be food, right??? And party favors??? (Red is my favorite color so save all the red balloons and stuff for me!) :-)
DeleteOkay - THAT should have totally gone under your response to me... LOL Oh, wellllllll.
DeleteThat's for sure! Julie's schedule makes me tired reading about it.
DeleteYeah, Glynna, and I'm not sure how that happened. Sigh. Gonna take a breather soon, thought, I can promise you that! :)
DeleteAnd, Barb, me too!! ;)
Hugs,
Julie
Good morning and congratulations to all of the winners. Thanks for sharing the pictures and the different links. Enjoy this first weekend of Fall!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, SEEKERVILLE! Thanks for sharing all the great ACFW pics, info, links, and fun! CONGRATS to ALL winners and finalists!
ReplyDeleteAnd looking forward to SEEKERVILLE's fabulous birthday month! SO excited!
Cynthia, I'm excited about the b-day month too!
DeleteHappy Autumn, Seekerville Friends!!
ReplyDeleteGreat WE as always! CONGRATS to all the winners!
Enjoyed the ACFW photos and was super-excited to see 4 of my Writing Sisters in a photo!! Waving at Sharee, Jackie, Connie, and Sherrinda!! :)
It's a GORGEOUS morning in my GA neighborhood and I wish I could share this beautiful weather with everyone. Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs, Patti Jo
p.s. That cover on your new LI book, Tina - - Oh My!!!! Excellent!!!! ;)
YES - I'll add a hearty "I second that!" to thoughts about TINA's swoon-worthy cover! Oh, myyyyyyyyyy is right! *blush*
DeleteIt is a fantastic cover!!
DeleteHappy weekend, everyone! I loved seeing the photos from ACFW! I hope to be there next year, Lord willing and the creek don't rise. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the Christy finalists!!
Me too, Missy. I better start saving my pennies now.
DeleteWaving to everyone at ACFW! Loved the pictures. Hope to see more of them! I know the hotel must be lovely. I've stayed at the Gaylord in Nashville and look forward to ACFW's conference there next year!
ReplyDeleteBe still my heart!! ACFW is coming to Nashville next year???? Hallelujah! Now I know I'll be there. It will take me less than a half hour to drive to the Gaylord, better known as the Opryland Hotel around here. They have everything you need under one roof, from restaurants to coffee shops to stores. So much better than downtown!
DeleteDebby, I am hoping to be at ACFW next year! That would be great to see you there!
DeleteLOVE the ACFW conference photos... and Tina's gorgeous cover (especially that cowboy)... and Julie's Love Everlasting cover...(I voted!)....and the informative WE. Great to have a link to the ACFW gala....and cheering for all the finalists!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the all weekly the winners! Thanks for the WE. Looks like another great week ahead!
Happy reading and/or writing to all of Seekerville. Is it really almost October birthday time?!?!
SHERIDA, thank you SOOOOO much, my friend, and you are IN THE DRAW for my contest, so GOOD LUCK!!
DeleteHUGS and more HUGS!!
Julie
Looking forward to another great week of learning at Seekerville! One more time... a BIG thank you to writer friends who introduced me to this friendly and informative place!
ReplyDeleteKaren, were thrilled to have you around the Village!!!
DeleteYou totally rocked it, Karen! Cannot wait for your sequel...but no pressure or anything. :-)
DeleteWow, that's a gorgeous cover, Tina! And a cowboy with an actual western saddle!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoying a family reunion this weekend--lots going on!
Thank you goes to my wonderful editor, Giselle Regus and Sr Editor Melissa Endlich and the HQ art department for taking my art fact sheet and making it come alive!!
ReplyDeleteAll true, Tina, but you gave them the necessary input so they could produce that lovely cover!!!
DeleteHi Tina:
ReplyDeleteWow!
What a cover!
I don't normally notice heroes on romance covers (as that goes against them being me) but that cowboy is as good as cowboys get. He holds that saddle like it weighs only a pound. Oh my: is his about to tip his hat to the lady readers? You bet.
All I can say is, "Give that man a horse and hang on to your claim ticket!"
Vince
HAPPY WEEKEND! CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners! Keep posting ACFW photos!
ReplyDeleteAloha from Hawaii. Yep, that is where I am right now. Sitting on the deck and looking out over the beach and ocean. I'm on the island of Maui and I can see Molokai where folks are snorkeling. Congrats to all the winners this week. And super congrats to those at the ACFW conference. How fun is that? Love the photos. Waving at Pam and Mary, you lucky folks
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to be in Hawaii! I think that sounds more fun than Dallas, even though ACFW would be fun.
DeleteI totally just squealed! I can't wait to wear the scarf this fall! Thanks so much <3
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend! I'm reading Many Sparrows by Lori Benton right now and loving it, highly recommend!
Oh woo -- I didn't even realize it was ACFW weekend!!!! My brain has been fried by humidity and physio. LOL Thanks for supplying the link to the gala tonight. I love watching that. And woohoo --I've actually read nearly all the Christy award finalist books. Just a few to catch up on. Woot.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the winners, and to TINA for that beautiful new cover!! And thanks for the info about JULIE's FB appearance. So cool to see the pics from the conference - thanks for sharing. And thanks for such a wonderful WE!
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful I could watch the Gala live. Thanks for the Link.
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone has a great weekend
I saw your comment on the feed, Wilani, and knew you were watching!!!
DeleteCongrats to the Genesis and Carol winners! So fun to watch the awards last night from my office!
ReplyDeleteSafe travels home to everyone who attended ACFW!
Don't the LI Editors look lovely?? Congrats to all the finalists and winners. You are all amazing.
ReplyDeleteYES! Love the pic of Tina & Melissa!
DeleteGreat pic! Emily was there too! I need to check FB and see if someone posted a photo of her. #lovemyeditor
DeleteIt's time I check in. Have been AWOL all week. I've had a busy weekend. Spent yesterday watching my niece and nephew marching in a band competition and then in a marching exhibition. They are seniors this year, so last year to see them do this. It was a fun day hanging out with my brother and sister-in-law too. Having a free day today. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I'm enjoying the ACFW pictures.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that it's already almost October. Yikes! Where has the time gone?
ReplyDeleteHey, Julie, I just finally watched Gone With the Wind for the first time. When I was done I went and read your alternate ending that my mother conveniently had on hand. Thank you so much for writing that, I needed the closure. Cause in the words of Chicken Little, "Lack of closure can cause premature malting, and I'm already short and on top of that I don't think I can handle being bald!"
Too funny, Nicki!
DeleteCongrats to our winners! This week's posts are going to be terrific!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures from ACFW! Beautiful ladies inside and out in a beautiful hotel.
Save the date! Wow, I'm so excited about our tenth birthday party!!
Tina, I love the hunky cowboy on your cover!! Can't wait to read it!
Janet
Wonderful Weekend edition!! Love the Links...as always! Congrats to winners and to all conference attendees...so fun to see the pics!! And, 10th Birthday Party comin' up...oh, yeah, let's party!!
ReplyDeleteGo vote for Julie's cover...it really is lovely and intriguing!!
I am CRAZY about the weather up here in Northern California...beautiful and breezy.
Looking forward to all the upcoming posts this last week of September! Have a lovely rest of your Sunday!
Oh, btw, Ruthy...my sweet husband had LOTS of donkey's growing up...we had a few very romantic rides off in the woods...LOL And, some funny experiences too! I just love those little rascals!
