Love Inspired editors at the ACFW Awards Gala. Executive Editor Tina James & Senior Editor Melissa Endlich.

They did it! Somehow, Julie Lessman actually managed to do a Facebook Live “Q&A with a CDQ” session with special pop-in guest Laura Frantz, so check out the video below!

THEN … mark your calendar for Julie’s next Facebook Live featuring a full “Q&A with Laura Frantz,” THURSDAY, 10/12, 7PM CDT on Julie’s FB author page! Hope to see you there for a double giveaway -- one of Julie's books and one of Laura's!

WATCH JULIE & LAURA’S 9/21 FB LIVE VIDEO HERE!

HELP! Julie Lessman needs a favor. Her cover for Love Everlasting is currently in the InD'Tales Magazine Creme de la Cover Contest, so if you have time (and you like the cover!), can you cast your vote? You have to subscribe to vote, but it's an easy process and most importantly, it's FREE for a great magazine that'll pop up in your email once a month.

And if you do, let Julie know via FB message or via the Contact Julie tab of her website, and your name will be tossed in the pot to have a character named after you in Julie’s upcoming December release, For Love of Liberty, a signed e-copy, and another e-copy of any of Julie's indie books. Here's the link and THANK YOU!!

This Tuesday morning at 9 AM PST, Julie Lessman is being interviewed via live video on Cara Grandle's Periscope show. The interview won't be live till Tuesday morning at the link below, but come on over on Tuesday if you can, okay?

This upcoming Monday, leave a comment on  Julie Lessman's blog on Southern Writers Magazine's SUITE T Blog between September 25-28, and you're in the draw for any of Julie's e-books ... INCLUDING a brand-new release in December called For Love of Liberty! Odds of winning are good as comments are generally low, so give it a shot! NOTE: Here's the link, but it won't go live until Monday, 9/25: http://southernwritersmagazine.blogspot.com/

Thanks for the link love.

And huge congratulations to this week's winners. I'm so happy for you!

We're still in full-throttle pumpkin mode here on the farm, and family coming in this weekend... so I'm wishing you all a lovely first weekend of fall... it's 90 degrees here the next few days, which is not typical September for WNY!!!... but we'll handle it!

A blessed weekend to all.... from the baker/writer/pumpkin grower in New York!!!

    1. NINETY degrees, Ruthy? In upstate NY? Here in the AZ mountains the highs have been about 60 in recent days, with a FREEZE WARNING for tonight! Trees are turning color fast now, too.

Would LOVE to see your pumpkins! I grew 'punkins' one year when I was in college -- and miniature pumpkins a few times after that. I love all things autumn!

    2. Ruthy, would LOVE to come to your pumpkin farm, my friend -- sounds like SO much fun!! But I draw the line at riding the donkeys ... ;)

Congrats to all the winners this week. Isn't Seekerville fun?!!

MARY, I wish I could have commented on your blog posted yesterday. I had a "Eureka!" moment reading it. So simple and biblical. Thanks for the insights. Definitely a keeper.

Well, back to addressing my editor's comments. Wish I could hang out with you all day. Have a great weekend everyone!

  5. Good morning, Seekerville! Yesterday was the first official day of Autumn -- my favorite season, but one that seems to be the shortest of the four seasons with summer heat and winter cold encroaching on both its borders.

LOVE your new cover, Tina!! SWEET! That should fly off the shelves!

Thanks for the ACFW pics, ladies! How did you pack that hat for the flight, Mary? Or do you or your cowboy wear it all the way from Nebraska? So cute!

    1. Be still my heart!! ACFW is coming to Nashville next year???? Hallelujah! Now I know I'll be there. It will take me less than a half hour to drive to the Gaylord, better known as the Opryland Hotel around here. They have everything you need under one roof, from restaurants to coffee shops to stores. So much better than downtown!

  17. Hi Tina:

    Wow!

    What a cover!

I don't normally notice heroes on romance covers (as that goes against them being me) but that cowboy is as good as cowboys get. He holds that saddle like it weighs only a pound. Oh my: is his about to tip his hat to the lady readers? You bet.

All I can say is, "Give that man a horse and hang on to your claim ticket!"

  26. It's time I check in. Have been AWOL all week. I've had a busy weekend. Spent yesterday watching my niece and nephew marching in a band competition and then in a marching exhibition. They are seniors this year, so last year to see them do this. It was a fun day hanging out with my brother and sister-in-law too. Having a free day today. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I'm enjoying the ACFW pictures.

  27. I can't believe that it's already almost October. Yikes! Where has the time gone?

Hey, Julie, I just finally watched Gone With the Wind for the first time. When I was done I went and read your alternate ending that my mother conveniently had on hand. Thank you so much for writing that, I needed the closure. Cause in the words of Chicken Little, "Lack of closure can cause premature malting, and I'm already short and on top of that I don't think I can handle being bald!"
