    2. Thanks, ladies! I was delighted when my agent sent me a copy of the review!

The magazine with Tina's new WW story arrived in my mailbox yesterday. This issue is about to supersede the one I haven't quite gotten to yet!

  7. Woo hoo! Another Tina story coming in Woman's World!

We DID finally get a little snow in the mountains...just enough to make the roads slick, but too dry and windblown to stick together as a snowball. But it least it LOOKED Christmasy for a short while! :)

Wishing all our Seekerville Friends a very special Christmas!

    1. Snow! Pretty to look at, and not so pretty to drive in. Merry Christmas, Glynna Kaye!

    2. Y'all can please keep your snow on THAT side of the country, thank you very much! 😉

    3. This was our very first snow for the season, Myra, so we can get a little excited (like we do when monsoon season hits in July and people run to doors & windows to look out at the rain, folks at the mall food court start cheering), and people are sticking their hands out the car windows to feel it. Living in a forest that's prone to fires makes you VERY grateful for precipitation. :) ) I think this was the 9th latest first snow since records started being kept. Not that out here that's that long of a time. LOL. 1899.

    4. Glynna, I can understand what you mean about precipitation and fire danger. It’s been a terrible year for California, Montana, and other areas.

    5. We are loving the snow here in WNY... and glad the freezing rain and downpours stopped in time for more snow to come yesterday... what a crazy day but so much fun for family and feasting! And not one Grinch in sight!!! :)

  16. 2018

    A sea change is coming
    the earth itself is quaking
    A sharp wind is blowing
    and cutting thru the night
    soon pages will stop turning
on their quest to the end
and when the last word is written
it will start all over again.

Merry Christmas to all of Seekerville.

    1. Marcia -- Although I've ridden the train from Williams to the Grand Canyon, I've never done the Polar Express. But I have several friends who have taken their kids every year. There's also the Northpole Experience at Fort Tuthill just off I-17 in Flagstaff. You can get Package deals at Little America hotel and ride a bus so don't have to deal with parking. Friends have come up from the Valley with kids/grandkids and had a good time doing that, too.

    2. Marcia, that sounds WONDERFUL! I'm going to go look it up.

  18. Is it really Christmas Eve eve??? Tomorrow will be a busy day with a special worship service in the morning and then four Christmas Eve candlelight services beginning at 4 p.m. At least the traditional choir is only involved with two of those services (8 and 10 p.m.)! The singers in our church who do double duty in both traditional and the contemporary praise team are in for a looooong evening!

    Merry Christmas, Seekerville!

    2. They do have food for musicians between services, at least. It’s just a long, long evening, even for those of us only singing at 2 services. With all the anthems plus congregational Christmas hymns, it’s a wonder anyone has a voice left at the end of the night!
