  1. Hello Tina:

You sure know how to put pressure on a guy.

I think I’m going to need a rematch. How about a short format like a synopsis contest or the first ten pages or something like that? Do you know of any contests like this?

BTW, if I final, will you give me a red headline like Ruthy?

(LOL): “A guy has to dream, right?”

Thanks for your motivation. I now know what it is like to enter a major contest. What I don’t know is what it’s like to get the results. OMG!

  2. Wow, I wouldn’t have guessed that I would win a free read from Crystal Laine Miller. I believe that she has a true desire to see writers succeed. Remember, I said that I coveted winning this prize? Well, here’s an admission. I have secretly longed to have her read some of my stuff, but I was afraid to ask.

Yeah . . . can you believe that? I mean, the young woman is so amazing anyway. Where on earth does she get that energy? From Chocolate? I just threw all my Hershey’s Kisses in the trash this morning because I ate so many yesterday that it made me sick . . . almost. However, as I sit here typing out my gratitude to Crystal for what she’s going to do for me, I did find out that if you dump some chocolate chips in with some raisins, it tastes like chocolate covered raisins. A no brainer.

Thanks, Crystal. I am indebted to you! (Will she like it or not?) Donna Rich

  6. Donna, I'm so happy for your win! Sounds like you're celebrating with the chocolate. Raisins are good. Just don't toss in some peanut butter.
