Seekerville Reunion in Denver, CO

Camy here, reporting live from the first Seekerville reunion!

These are the forebearing husbands, Janet's husband in the top and Mary's husband in the bottom (I'm not sure if I can say their names on a public blog for security's sake).
This is Julie's husband on the left and Myra's husband on the right.
(Poor men spent a great deal of time in the other living room because the estrogen levels were a tad high in our room.)

Here was our magnificent spread!
Me and Missy in a self portrait!
This was actually the second try because the first try cut off my head. :)
Julie, Cara, Ruthy!
Sandra, Glynna, Mary!
Audra, Debby, Janet, Myra!

Cheryl and Pam!
Me and Audra in a self-portrait!
This was better, I thought.
This made us laugh the most, though!
Pam and Cheryl. Or Pam and her other two arms.
All fifteen of us!
Happy Birthday Tina!
Julie made a fantastic gift basket for Tina. Move over Martha Stewart!

The card was hilarious. Basically making fun of the fact we're only getting older...but we're not telling how old we are!
Dream (from the Steeple Hill forum boards) joined us! She was also playing chauffeur for me and Cheryl.
We had fantastic desserts! Carrot cake and...
these incredibly decadent brownies!!!! (I'm the Seeker writing this blog, so of course I'm going to focus on the food!!!)
We had a great time!!! All fifteen Seekers in one house for the very first time!
Peace out,
Camy

    Adorable.

    Marvelous.

    Wonderful Seekers.

    Hugs. Kisses. Laughing. More hugs.

How often do you walk into the middle of a group of fifteen women and NO ONE is sizing you up to see if they look better than you??? Cuter? Slimmer? Younger?

Best Group Ever award goes to...

    You guessed it!

    :)

Gotta go shower. I smell better when I've showered. Very mathematical.

Tina's loading the dishwasher. She made me coffee. Bought me creamers.

    I'm in heaven.

  13. Good morning! Getting together at Tina's was wonderful!

When the last group of us arrived, you've never heard some screaming and laughing and hollering. There was more noise at Tina's than in the whole conference hotel! lol

The food, fun, and fellowship was awesome. Thanks Tina!

The conference is kicking off to a great start. Over 300 people have arrived and more are on the way today.

The EB Session with Donald Maass starts at 8, and we're going to have a blast.

    Carrot cake for breakfast.

    In real time.

    Really!

    lol

    Will report in later!

PS. Robin and I stayed up until 1:30 so we're starting the conference off as usual.

Disclaimer: the bags under my eyes are in no way due to my official duties as a board member!

  29. Hey guys, I had a great birthday. If you are going to get older, this is the way to do it.

We hit the State Capitol ....and a few brave souls went up into the dome. Then over to the Molly Brown house. Did you know she never went by Molly? Margaret Brown, better known as Mrs. JJ Brown. It was incredible!

  30. Sounds like fun!

I just finished regestering for ACTs... : / ughhhh...this is not the night to do that. I got home after 9 from a 3 hour dance rehearsal for the musical! Geez, I'm WAY too busy.... : )

  31. Mary, I'm so upset I didn't get to meet your husband. I met Janet's, Julie's, and Myra's. Very nice guys. And I had so much fun going to dinner with Tina, Julie, Audra, Sandra, and a couple whose names I don't recall (sorry), and aforesaid husbands. We ate at Ted's Montana Grill, and I kept wondering why the food seemed Southern, like the squash casserole I had. But then someone told me it was Ted Turner's restaurant chain, and Ted is from Atlanta, as was our waiter, Will.
A very nice waiter, but next time, Tina, I want waiters wearing cowboys hats and boots. :-)

I felt so special getting to go with you guys. It was so great getting to talk to you guys in person! All of you are so nice, I wanted to move to Colorado. Or St. Louis.
