  3. All nighter? All right! Go Tina!

I was just trying to think of the lame stuff we used to sign in yearbooks. As if anything in the seventies was not 'cool!'

    Peace!

Groovy weekend edition. U are 2 much!

Thanks for the candle. I shall burn it in homage to the LoCash Cowboys and Cheryl's post which made me remember there is life out there somewhere beyond the cave of work and . . . work. hmmmm.

  4. LOL. The pictures are just soooo....LOL. Very clever weekend edition. Loved the book furniture. I especially liked the book room...that would be a neat office. Or maybe even a house, combined with straw bale technology. :-)

  5. Outstanding Pictures!

Tina, the weekend edition never fails to put a smile on my face.

Congrats to this weeks winners. Have a great weekend everyone.

  6. Queen of the Prom???? NOT!! Of course with that picture, is it any wonder????

TEENSTER ... like Rose said, you never fail to put a smile on my face either ... especially those yearbook pictures from the other WE -- except I want Ruthy's hair, because that's what I wore in the 70s (the curls you have me in are dead on for my senior picture, however, so cold chills on that one!!).

SUPER CONGRATS to all the winners -- way to kick butt, guys!!

Go, Tina, on the weekend marathon writing!! And happy weekend one and all!

    Hugs,
    Julie

  8. Those pictures are so cute!
I'm in book heaven this morning! I just won Ruth's new book @ Season's of Humility and now I get to read one of Debby's books, too. I'm so excited!
This may be the one and only morning I'm in a decent mood. (So not a morning person)!!!! :)
    Thanks y'all!

  9. That picture of Missy is actually how she still looks almost exactly.

  10. Hello from
    Rochester Minnesota!!!

Erica Vetsch and I are having a book signing here today along with Cheryl Ricker. You can go to my blog for details. Come if you're around.

I got here last night and Erica and I had one of those priceless three hour dinners you get with a friend every once in a while.

I have to get off the computer now and go have a three hour breakfast with her. YAH :)

  11. Ha, love it Debra Marvin.

    How about...

    Yours til Niagra Falls.

    Have a great summer.

    Can't wait for Senior Year.

May the Force be with you.

Thanks for helping me make it through Algebra 1.

  12. I would have made a GREAT football player. I know no fear!

Loved Sandra as a rocker. ROFLOL

  13. AWESOME post, Tina! Loved the pictures, esp. Missy in typing class. That one brought back memories.

And I had no idea Tina was a football center. That is the friendliest-looking offensive line I've ever seen. Maybe you all should sneer a little or something. Eye black would help too. Just trying to help.

  14. Missy is looking a little like Melanie Griffith in her photo.

In my sr. yearbook everyone had their hair the same. Long, parted in the middle. Very Hippy UnChic.

I don't suppose we can get you Seekers to do your REAL yearbook photos . . . or can we?

    Rock On!

  15. Thanks for the informative Weekend Edition, Tina! And the hilarious photos. You do know how to have fun on a Friday night, don't you Tina!?!

Wish you were coming to Indy next month!!! I want to see you!

  16. I don't want to scare you Melly, but someday I plan to get a life and then I will outsource the weekend editions to a company on a remote island in the Pacific..not far from Unpubbed Island.

  17. Anne, we're a very polite team.

We say excuse me before we tackle.

    ReplyDelete
  18. LOL, I don't doubt it. You probably bake brownies for everybody too. :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Actually, baking brownies is a good defensive move. While the opposing team tackles the brownie plate, the seekerville can run for a touchdown! (I hope that is correct football terminology as the only sport I really follow is figure skating.) :-)

  20. Too funny... Congrats all you winners.

  21. Oh my gosh, how FUN!! Tina, how did you get it so right? I DID try to go for the Farrah feathered bang look in junior high! :)

You know, I had a little trouble figuring out some of the photos. It's hard to recognize someone without their regular hair!!

Thanks for all the great links!

  22. THIS was an absolute riot! LOLOLOL! Tina, you are amazing.
