Puppies and kitties and horsies! Gotta love 'em! I'll be sending a pic of my puppy Coco the collie! She's my furry baby even though she's a lot bigger than most babies at 85 pounds! :-P
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners and to both Lisa's on their sales!
XOXO~ Renee C.
Come and get it!!! At 4 a.m. Coffee a-plenty.
ReplyDeleteDOC (Dumb Ole Cat) died, and we decided to not start over with another pet. He was a big white tom with black paws, tail, and ears. He actually belonged to youngest son, and died while his owneer was in Iraq.
Helen
Awe, Helen. How sweet.
ReplyDeleteHooray for Love Your Pet Day! :) I just sent some pictures in an e-mail to ya'll!
ReplyDeleteAs for my manuscript, the only pets that I can think of are horses, but there are some great ones! :)
Happy Weekend!
~Amber
Ohhhhh! Dogs and horses are my favorite people. Thanks for those awesome photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Aztec, BK!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Amber~!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to see all the cute pets. Great idea, Tina!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to my agency mate Lisa J. and Barbour buddy Lisa K.R. on their First Sales. Woohoo!
Congratulations to Lisa and Lisa!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCamy
Oh, Teenster, how fun is this!!!! Woof!
ReplyDeleteMeow!
Glub. Glub. Glub. (guess what animal???)
I'm lovin' these cats and dogs, and I think ROWDY is the cutest puppy ever known to mankind.
OH, A-STINKIN'-DORABLE!!!!
Helen, perfect name for the cat. Dumb Ole Cat. Oh, that is so going in a book. Or something like it.
You amaze me, woman!
Love the parade of pets! Thanks Tina! And everyone for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Lisa and Lisa on their first sale!!!!
If I had a photo, I'd share a picture of our granddog--an adorable cockapoo pup. Thankfully growing up. :-)
Janet
Ohhhh, poor Bart looks so uncomfortable! Seriously, he needs to shed a few pounds! Congratulations to the first sales, and next weeks line up looks great. :)
ReplyDeleteWHOO-HOO!!! SUPER CONGRATS to both LISAS for their sales to LI and Barbour -- WAY COOL!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd CONGRATS to all the Seekerville winners as well.
Cool WE, Teenster -- pets add SO much to a story, in my opinion. I had two golden retrievers in the Daughters of Boston series -- Blarney and Runt, both running with the angels now as is the pup that inspired them, our 15-year-old golden named "Bunker." Emma has two kitties in her upcoming book, A Heart Revealed, one maimed and abused like she was.
Hugs,
Julie
Congratulations to the Lisas on their book sales!!!! How exciting is that???? And to Seekerville for celebrating Love Your Pet Day. My dog, Simba is curled up at my feet while I blog blitz. And I'm watching an animal rescue show while I read.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Tina.
ReplyDeleteAnd BEAUTIFUL/CUTE pics!!
Tom's horse is Gorgeous...kind of like Tom :-)
Congrats winners
CONGRATS Lisa & Lisa!! WOOHOOO!!
I'm home with a sickly crew today, so I'm going to go show them these cute pics to cheer them up.
Blessings,
Love those AMINALS :) Sent one - and this next week looks awesome, as usual :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the first sales. I'm very happy (and a little jealous :-) ) at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI need to share a photo of the bichon, the white dog that appears in my Japan novels. Now as to why a Meditteranean breed would be in 16th century Japan, it's because the Portugues traders brought him. (Though they reportedly only brought sheep dogs.)
Congrats to the Lisas!!! Seems like there have been a lot of sales lately!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm very excited about the five page critique (coming at just the right time for me, God is so good).
I have a torbie ragdoll who likes constant attention and is a purring machine sitting on my lap.
I'll send in my 5 pages after church along with a picture of my cat.
Do you think you guys will ever auction off a critique for a synopsis or query letter? I'm such a newbie that would be so helpful!
CONGRATULATIONS LISA & LISA!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE all the pet pics!!
Well Julia I did a query a few weeks ago...but hahahaha I hate synopsis, so I would never do that.
ReplyDeleteAny Seekers like synopsis/es?
Awe, Pepper, so sorry for the sick houseful. Seekerville has been fighting the creeping crud as well!
ReplyDeleteMega Congrats to Lisa and Lisa!!!
ReplyDeleteGLYNNA: I LOVED the interview with Trey! His response to the first questions was so great (and so cowboy). Fun!
--Kirsten
Tina,
ReplyDeleteMy four year old, Phoebe, might be up for some editing. She just took a black pen to my wip.
I now have crescent moons along with my Lusitania.
And a few happy faces.
I'm sure the folks on board needed those
TINA!
ReplyDeleteWay to go today. Fun fun fun!!!
Thanks for sharing Seekerville with our 4 footed buds. Knew I was in the right spot here, but seriously - all these critter lovers?! Absolutely.
God is good.
Julie - EXACTLY RIGHT! Emma has two kitties in her upcoming book, A Heart Revealed, one maimed and abused like she was.
This is May's story too. But she PREVAILS!!!! In fact, looking at one of Tina's links... about the EMP... (that should give any of you spy sleuths a clue...) ;D
Praying for those with the creepin' crud. We've been okay around here. This may sound weird, but seriously - I've not had anything for over 3 years now.
Dip a Q-tip in hydrogen peroxide and swab the inside of each nostril (eww - changing each end of course). It burns but typically a virus and/or bacteria don't do well in an oxygen-rich environment. I do it every night. So far, so good. It's the only thing I'm doing differently.
Have a splendid Sunday everybody! :)
OH - and I was blessed to be one of the winners of Karen O'Connor's book. Already have it! That lady is on the ball...
May just heard that last word. She's at the ready now.
PS - Tina, our "girls" Jaqarah and Masara send nickers to Okie and Annie-O from your The Rancher's Reunion.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good critique partner, Pepper!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the pic of Coco and Oreo I let them know that they are now stars on Seekerville!! :-)
ReplyDeleteXOXO~ Renee C.
Woo hoo! Congrats for Lisa & Lisa! So much fun on the blog today... I love enjoying other people's pets. If it weren't for all the work involved, I'd get myself a dog in a heartbeat :+}
ReplyDeleteI need more pets in my books. This is good, Tina. Thank you. Pets liven things up and the heroine can talk to her dog instead of just THINKING things through.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! I sent two photos of some of our dogs-- Joy, our feisty little Pomeranian, and dear Tam, our sweet little Shetland Sheepdog. Who could have said it any better than Edith Wharton when she wrote “My little dog – a heartbeat at my feet”?
ReplyDeleteI always use animals in my stories. Mostly dogs and horses. It’s great to see everyone’s furry families!
Thank you so much for sharing, Whitney, Adrienne and Terry Lynn!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Lisa Jordan and Lisa Karon! Thanks for sharing all of your adorable pets, Seekers!
ReplyDeleteMay wants to know where Aristotle is?
ReplyDeleteOhhh Vince???!!!!
YES Congrats to the Lisas!!!
super fun!
Fun, fun pictures! I can't send anything in though at the moment as I have no pets. :( Unless you count the stray cat wondering across our property...LOL, so fun though to see everyone else's. :)
ReplyDeleteI emailed my photo this morning! Thanks for hosting this giveaway and for the heads-up about this week's posts. I have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, so I'm looking forward to reading Friday's post.
ReplyDelete~Susan Lee
Congrats to the Lisas!! And thanks to all of you who shared your babies with us today. What sweet photos!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the pets. They are so important and you're right, about them helping with the heart and soul of the characters.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS Lisa and Lisa. How exciting. I'm so happy for you.
Happy Presidents Day long weekend. woo hoo.
Yay for Lisa and Lisa!
ReplyDeleteAnd I've already set up my appointment with Camy - am so stoked about that I renamed a character after her ;).
Okay - that's not why, I've been wanting to change Debbie's name for a while [sorry Debby!] and Camy [or Kami? as a nick name for something longer I haven't decided on] fit the bill.
=D
Thanks, Seekerville! Great week ahead!
Awww, thanks for the congrats and celebrating with me!!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any pets, but we used to have a gorgeous yellow Lab named Samantha Jane, and an aquarium full of fish. My characters have pets though. Loved looking at all of yours!
Oh my goodness...I got so distracted by the pet photos that I forgot to congratulate Sandra on the acceptance of her children's picture books!!!!! And me in the kid lit biz!!!!!! OY. But I was thrilled when I read it the first time, if that counts. :-) And I'm still thrilled.
ReplyDeleteRuthie:
ReplyDeleteYou're too late. DOC is already in one of my books that's with an editor. :)
Got my Genesis entry in last night. Don't even have a confirmation yet.
Helen
You're right, KAV. I congratulated Sandra privately..but time for big public HOOT!!!!!
