  1. First up, best dressed!!!

That was a common phrase in big families back in the day when clothes were shared ala Faith and Charity....

The best socks were hidden in drawers...

And if you wanted time to shower, don't dally in bed!

Happy Thanksgiving, Seekerville! I pray your days are filled with safe travel, gentleness, no football fights (THIS IS A PERSONAL PRAYER UP HERE, Y'KNOW!!!) and plenty of gravy and pie to go 'round!

  7. Happy Thanksgiving, Seekerville. When I count my blessings I count you all twice, and then possibly I thank God for pumpkin pie twice as well.

  8. Happy Thanksgiving, Seekerville and all our surrounding communities!

We've got pumpkin pies baking in the oven and oohhhh they smell so good!

Like Julie said, may not a pound be gained except within the love of family and friends.

  11. Happy Thanksgiving Seekerville!

Our first thanksgiving together my husband asked me to make some fudge from scratch using his grandmother's recipe. It was a flop. Now, years and years later I decided to give fudge making a second try.

    YUMMMMY!

Help yourselves. I'm going back to the store to buy some more marshmallow cream. That's stuffs a real lifesaver... er fudge saver.

  13. What a wonderful day!

Last up, but I was still snazzily enough dressed!

Yummy Thanksgiving dinner at my mother-in-laws with the whole family. Only one was missing: my younger son's girlfriend and her family went out of town this week, so we missed her, but the rest were all there safe and sound!
