  5. I'm CRAZY BUSY too, as I prepare to close up the house and fly to a cooler climate. Yes, I'm leaving the dry heat state of Arizona and heading to northern Alberta where I've never seen 100 (or 40 C) weather yet. See you next season, Tina and Sandra.

  28. Mary C I'm really sorry your elbow is hurting. Honest. And if I could do something about it, I would. Honest. But ... well .. you did say on your blog that you had all of Closer than Brothers written, right? And you will suffer through the agony of a hurting elbow so you can post the chapters for your readers, right?

    I thought so.

You are noble beyond words, Mary!

    Nancy C

  29. HAHAHA!!! Mary Connealy. You're first comment... You crack me up. Always. :)

CONGRATS to Tina on the Golden Quill!!! Happy happy dance! Great WE, btw.

I forgot to congratulate Sally Bradley yesterday on being the May Contest Diva! Woot Woot!!! :) Reading about your contest journey was truly inspirational!

  30. Nancy C! You are so clever with your highlighted words. I am much impressed.

  31. I have a question. I know several of the rules of grammar have changed recently. What is a good resource I could check on what the current rules are. For instance like when to write the number and when to write the word.

I hope every one is having a great weekend.

  32. The Golden Quill, Tina!!!!!
    AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm so excited about all the successes here. Congrats to Myra, Melissa and Tina and the winners from last week.
So happy for you, Sue M.
Great WE, Tina. Many thanks for the links and the contest update. Entered the WOW flash fiction contest today.
Mary, hope your elbow is better soon.
Wonderful weekend everyone. Such a gorgeous day here in Philly.

  34. Way to go Pat Jeanne!!!!!

  35. Oh, what a great WE, Tina!!! I was in Buffalo all day, watching a dance competition... and in between Casey's numbers, I curled up on the floor and worked... but then a wonderful maintenance guy named Bill said "Get off the floor and go use our break room..." So I did and I got to know Bill and Tom and they're now very excited about my books... AND I got my new LI proposal done... So one more thing to check off the list!

Casey's mom came and got me whenever we were getting close to Casey's dance numbers, and she came away with five "gold" awards and a win, and a special "smile" award for her beautiful smile!!!

    A great day!

  36. Okay, I read Konrath's blog and I agree wholeheartedly.

First, don't engage the crazies. It just isn't done.

Second, don't read reviews. And don't respond to them.

I am so stinkin' grateful for good reviews but I know not everyone is going to love my stuff... so I have to act like a big girl and suck it up if someone doesn't think Anne Kellwyn is a great heroine... I know better!

And Matt Cavanaugh is about the hottest marine going!!!!

    And "Shadow Jesus" rocks!

And "Beansy-the-goat" is a wonderful little pet.

Always remember Eleanor Roosevelt: "No one can make you feel inferior without your permission".

And that is so true. We have the power.

    ReplyDelete
  37. p.s. Since I was half-asleep last nite when I typed my comment, I said congrats to Tina but want to also say CONGRATS to Myra and Melissa too!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Here in Georgia we have gorgeous weather...and I have a COLD...yuk. But I haven't had one in ages, so guess I was "due" LOL.

Hugs, Patti Jo (grabbing more Kleenex)

  40. Tina, thank you for the WE and BIG congratulations on Mending the Doctor's Heart!

Cheering for Myra and Melissa, also! And for contest diva Sally--encouraging to read her contest journey! (Yes, I'm CRAZY BUSY, so catching up with previous posts.) Now to see what's happening with Mary's characters.....

Hope everyone is having a lovely springtime Sunday that's not TOO busy!

  41. Oh, WOW, I've been wanting to get my mitts on that CRAZY BUSY book because I heard it was SO good, but I've been too busy to do it and then I forgot the name of it until this WE, Teenster, so THANK YOU!!
