That's it! Have a great reading and writing weekend!
Hi Seekerville. Happy Weekend. I have a "new to me" computer being set up today and all my stuff from my ten year old computer being transferred, so will be out of pocket for a while. Hope your weekend is FABULOUS!@!
ReplyDeleteOh, the "fun" of transitioning to a new computer! Hoping everything goes smoothly and you are up and running ASAP!
DeleteBTW, SUPER CONGRATS on the RWA Honor Roll!!! You go, girl!!!!
DeleteGreat weekend! In Chatanooga for a women's conference, Women of Fire. All the money raised during the conference goes to help with human trafficking, The Zion Project. Eye-opening!
ReplyDeleteWOMEN OF FIRE??? Oh, man, that sounds like something I would like to attend, Sally, ESPECIALLY if it helps raise funds for human trafficking!! Have a great weekend, my friend!
DeleteHugs,
Julie
Sally, that sounds so intriguing! Human trafficking is a topic big on my heart. Bless you today!!
DeleteWomen of Fire. You go girl. Have a blessed time.
DeleteSally, It's good to hear that human trafficking is being brought into the light. Have a great conference!
DeleteJanet
Happy weekend, Tina! You are one brave woman. It takes nerves of steel to switch computers. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL, BARB, I thought EXACTLY the same thing! You're a better woman than me, Tina Radcliffe!!
DeleteHugs,
Julie
I so agree. Just changing the calendar is doing me in. LOL
DeleteCongratulations on being added to the RWA honor roll, Tina! I'm loving the Love Lessons collection. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Tina! I read your novella from Love Lessons last night - such a cute story. Have a beautiful weekend, Seekerville!
ReplyDeleteYou have a blessed weekend too, Josee.
DeleteTEEEEEEEENNNNAAAAAA!!!! That is SO awesome about making the RWA Honor Roll, my friend -- HUGE DEAL!!
ReplyDeleteAnd SUPER CONGRATS on the new anthology release -- VERY cool!!
My condolences about the new computer transfer -- not fun at first, but soooooo fun after you have a "new" computer to play around with!!
It's the SHOOT-OUT in Lake of the Ozarks this weekend, The largest unsanctioned boat race in the US, so the air is vibrating on my deck right now with tons of off-shore powerboats racing up and down the Lake. It's considered one of the nation’s eight “must-see” boating events according to Powerboat Magazine and raises money for eight Lake-area rescue teams and numerous other charitable organizations, so I guess I can put up with the noise for a weekend ... :)
My heart and prayers go out to the folks of Texas who are in the path of the hurricane -- praying the storm will do an about-face and head back out to sea with minimal damage.
Hugs!!
Julie
Julie, Love the photo of you. Is that from your deck? Yikes, power boats, but like you said, only a weekend. And yes, prayers for all in Texas.
DeleteThanks, Sandra! It's actually on our boat while it's moving, and YES, very LOUD, LOUD boats!
DeleteHugs!!
Julie
Enjoy the shoot-out, Julie! How exciting! Are you waving to the boats as they zip by your deck?
DeleteNo, Deb, because we are back in a cove, so we are not on the main channel, but we did wave to a few people when we went to cove out. :)
DeleteHugs,
Julie
Congrats tina!!!!! !!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to TINA for Making The RWA Honor Roll!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what the criteria is but I do know that no one works harder at their craft!
Way to Go!
Just Downloaded my Copy of "Love Lessons" -- It's Like "Old Timers Day" at Yankee Stadium!
I used to get Merrillee Whren's new releases as part of my LI subscription before eBooks... and it was Cheryl Wyatt who intorduced me to Seekerville when I won a little writing contest on her 'squirrelly' site. (I think it had squirrel in the name.)
What a deal! The best 'reunion' possible for just 99 cents! Why I pay twice that just to read Tina's 800 word WW's stories!
So happy I love novellas!
Vince
Congratulations Tina! Congratulations winners! Blessings for all of you and fervent prayers for the people in Texas.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Tina!! And to all the winners! Lots of great info on today's WE that I'll be diving into.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Tina on the RWA Honor Roll. You deserve it.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to be a winner of last weekend's trivia contest. That was fun.
I have a free weekend so hope to have time to get a lot done around home and some writing.
Yay Tina. Congrats on the RWA Honor Roll. Woohooooo And you so are entitled to this. Super hugs.
ReplyDeleteJulie, love that video. And loved the series. Go girl.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sandra, I love that video, too!
DeleteHUGS!!
Julie
Great weekend edition. Congrats to all the winners. Have a wonderful fun weekend. Happy writing and happy reading.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend Seekerville!! It's a gorgeous day here with a hint of fall in the air. I'm not ready to see summer go.
ReplyDeleteTINA, mega congratulations on making the RWA Honor Roll! Yay!!
Congrats to our winners!
I'm excited that I'm going to lunch and shopping with my granddaughter and daughter today.
Janet
Sounds like a wonderful day, Janet! Have a great time shopping. Wish you could shop with me and share some of your savvy fashion advice! I'M DESPERATE!!!
DeleteTina, huge congrats on making the Honor Roll! Go you!!!! I'm so proud of you!
ReplyDeleteIt's first mini donkey week at the farm, so I'm using my middle of the night time for books and daytime for finishing chicken coops and rebuilding the shed for "Lexi" who we drive and pick up on Wednesday.... I promise when farm season winds down, I'll be around more (and just as annoying as ever!) but right now.... there's only so many hours in a day and I know youse all understand.
On the plus side, I will have some good news to share in a few weeks! :)
I love good news!!!!
Congratulations Tina!!! Happy weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Seekerville! Have I mentioned Saturday is not exactly my favorite day of the week? We're still getting our house back in order a whole month after the kids moved overseas. Plus trying to ferret out why our washer has been silently soaking the laundry room floor for who knows how long. I foresee expensive repair bills in our future.
ReplyDeleteAlso praying for the Texas Gulf Coast. We have friends and family in the path who I'm sure are getting hit hard.
Oooohhh -- congratulations Tina!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally enamored with that last link for the Colorado Ranch Library -- wouldn't that be a fun writing/researching retreat location?! (If I could get over my fear of snakes.) And I'm excited at the notion of more library vacation places in the world. The Gladstone Library referenced in the article sounds divine...and it's in Wales! Now I have to do some research and see if there are more. Happy weekending everyone.
Yes, Tina!!! A Big Congratulations on making the RWA Honor Roll!!!!! Now I can say I knew you when. lol
ReplyDeleteBarbara, yes! We knew her when she was regular Tina!!!!
DeleteCongratulations TINA!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading while Harvey is on land. Not much damage in my area. I'm grateful for the intercessor who are on the wall praying for Texas!
Enjoy your weekend!

DeleteJust reread my comment and saw my terrible mistake!!! My comment should have read:
DeleteGlad you DIDN'T get a bad hit from the storm, Caryl Kane!!!
Congratulations Tina on making the RWA Honor Roll! Woo hoo! WELL DESERVED!
ReplyDeleteAnd prayers going out for Caryl and other Villagers in the Gulf region -- my Houston-area extended family members are hunkering down for a possible 18-25 inches of rain--and the ground is already saturated from previous rainfall, so catastrophic flooding expected. I can't even imagine that much rain.
Ruthy--we expect to see mini-donkey pics in an upcoming blog...right along with your standard Jeter. :)
Praying for your Houston family, Glynna. We lived in Houston when Tropical Storm Allison hit . . . and circled around and hit again. The flood damage in many areas was horrendous, and we were grateful our neighborhood escaped anything beyond some street flooding.
DeletePraying for your loved ones, Glynna, and all those impacted by Harvey!
DeleteCongrats Tina! You deserve an award for your work here at Seekerville. I just hit purchase for the novella collection...very timely as I started back to school recently. The kiddos are doing good so far and their teacher is enjoying the quiet before the storm.
ReplyDeleteYAY TINA ON THE RWA HONOR ROLL!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTina, congrats on the RWA Honor Roll!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI had an IT guy working on my computer today. Glad that's over and things are better. It's nice to be back online!!!
Praying for all those in Harvey's path. Praying protection from the storm and ensuing rain. All that water! Oh my! Lord, protect everyone!
Fantastic News Tina! Making the RWA Honor Roll!! Way to Go!! Congrats!!
ReplyDeletePraying for everyone in the path of Harvey...
Love the weekend edition!
Wishing each of you a very productive writing week ahead!
Tina, Congratulations on making the RWA honor roll!
ReplyDeleteI spent the evening in the ER last night with my husband, his blood sugar dropped extremely low and he had what the doctor said was a seizure. I went directly into prayer while preparing (putting on shoes & getting our dog in the kennel) for the EMS to get to the house with the ambulance. We live less than a mile away from the hospital which is good. I called my brother to ask him for prayer and told him my husband has always been my shoulder when I made these ER trips with our Mom. He told me Jesus is with you and lean on Him. Praise God my husband's tests all came back normal and he is feeling fine. Prayer would be appreciated though that when he sees our family doctor that she concurs that it was his low blood sugar and not a seizure.
Blessings,
Cindy W.
Cindy, saw your comment this morning. Praying for your husband's health and for your peace of mind.
DeletePraying, Cindy W.
DeleteCindy, I will be praying for your husband.
DeleteThank you all for your prayers.
DeleteWatching the Weather Channel and worried about those in the flooded areas. Praying for all needs! Stay safe, dear friends!
ReplyDeleteI'm baaack and my puter is SCREAMING fast and I have Word 13 on it. Ready to write. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!!
DeleteI always get Seekerville a day late, and wanted to shout out Congrats to Tina...well deserved!
ReplyDeleteJulie, your trailer was awesome, and your husband and daughter deserve a big congrats on a job well done! I bought the book and look forward to another good read.
Praying for the folks in Texas. God protect them!
Congratulations to all the winners (read...me, too!)!
Blessings,
Marcia
MARCIA, bless you for downloading the ebook, my friend, and THANK YOU for your sweet comment. They do deserve a pat on the back for an excellent job on one of the best videos I have seen, in my humble opinion. :)
DeleteHugs and HAPPY READING!
Julie
