That peppermint bark has my mouth watering! I can almost taste it. Had a neighbor lady who would make peanut brittle and fudge to bring over during the Christmas season. Our kids enjoyed that when they were younger :-) I miss her, and not just because of the treats either! She was like a grandma to them. Always had her Christmas village set up in her living room and my kids eyes would light up...great memories.

I couldn't believe it--no snow here in mountain country yet except for a couple of times on the highest peaks, but yesterday got photos from a Houston-area cousin of SNOW there!

There's excitement in the air as we countdown to Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWe had a lovely advent event at church last night. So festive and special! I was tied up all day getting my table and dinner ready for the big night! We had snow yesterday, but the streets cleared, and thanks be to God, the church was packed!
In this hectic time, I'm trying to embrace each moment as a gift! I hope you find peace and joy as well. All of you are so special to me! Hugs and prayers heading from my house to yours!
