  2. Happy WE everyone!

I can not BELIEVE it's almost time for another rockin' New Year's Eve party!! Where has the time gone? Seriously, this year went by way too fast...I blinked and missed it. Anyone else feel that way?

Congrats to this week's winners!! Mary, I'm so sorry to hear you're suffering from migraine headaches :-( My husband has them often and they are no picnic. He sometimes has to go lay down in a dark and quiet place to get rid of them. Hugs to you, my dear!

That peppermint bark has my mouth watering! I can almost taste it. Had a neighbor lady who would make peanut brittle and fudge to bring over during the Christmas season. Our kids enjoyed that when they were younger :-) I miss her, and not just because of the treats either! She was like a grandma to them. Always had her Christmas village set up in her living room and my kids eyes would light up...great memories.

Looks like her another wonderful week here in Seekerville, blessings!

      It's more fun that way.

  14. Happy Weekend, everyone. It will be a busy one for me working at the book store. It's wonderful to see so many people buying books to give at Christmas. Tonight is also date night with hubby to see a production at our community theater of It's a Wonderful Life. I'm looking forward to that.

Can't believe New Year's Eve is coming up. Love New Year's Eve in Seekerville.

  22. There's excitement in the air as we countdown to Christmas!

We had a lovely advent event at church last night. So festive and special! I was tied up all day getting my table and dinner ready for the big night! We had snow yesterday, but the streets cleared, and thanks be to God, the church was packed!

In this hectic time, I'm trying to embrace each moment as a gift! I hope you find peace and joy as well. All of you are so special to me! Hugs and prayers heading from my house to yours!

  24. Debby, I push to get things done pre-Advent because Advent is so much more than shopping and baking... it's such beautiful preparation for a holy day, a blessed season.

I don't want my Advent rushed.

I want it blessed with time and contemplation and prayer. I face Lent the same way because it's so easy to get caught in the busyness and craziness of all that's expected.

Give me peace and the good Lord. O come, o come Emmanuel!
