ReplyDeletePlease stay safe if you're in the path of Irma or the wildfires!
It was so much fun to have you here!!! On that side of the podium, my friend!
DeleteI agree with Ruthy, Annie -- it was a pleasure having you on Seekerville, so anybody who missed Annie's post, do check it out on last Wed.'s post.
DeleteHugs!
Julie
Winners, congratulations! What a fun thing that is, I love winning things... but even more than that, I love giving things away. SO FUN!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a crazy weekend coming up for so many... a wretched storm to recover from for so many, and another barreling down on Florida and points south as we wait and watch...
God bless all in the storm's path. Bless the responders, those who can't get away and those who have no funds to get away or places to go. May our grace and faith reach out to those displaced, and those hurt, injured or damaged...
You are all in my/our prayers.
And I'll feel a little inane talking about holiday stuff in the wake of the storm, but it's SEPTEMBER... and chilly nights here in the north... so holiday stories are hitting the shelves in the next few weeks!
And so it goes...
Praying along with you, Ruthy, for those hit by Harvey and about to be hit by Irma. For those battling the wildfires in the West.
DeleteDitto on both Ruthy and Glynna...praying especially for members of my family in Florida and Texas, and my mountain friends in Montana. Be safe.
DeleteMarcia
I BROUGHT COFFEE!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all of the winners! I'm looking forward to reading TOO FAR DOWN...thanks, Mary!
ReplyDeleteStay safe everyone.
Up early to check the path of Irma. We have kids and grandkids hunkered down in its path in south Florida. Thanks for your prayers, Ruthy!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the winners, and as always, Tina, thanks for another great WE!
Praying, Barbara, for your family and everyone.
DeleteJanet
Oh, Barb, I am so sorry to hear your kids and grands are in the path, so saying extra prayers for them and their home.
DeletePraying around the clock for EVERYONE in Irma's path, that God would dispatch angels over the entire state of Florida!!
Hugs and more hugs,
Julie
Barb, prayers are continuing here! Stinkin' Mother Nature.....
DeleteBut faith and freedom prevail.... always.
Praying, Barb!
DeletePraying for them, Barb!
DeleteAnther great W.E., Tina! I'll have to reward myself periodically by coming back to check out the links, but for now it's back to EDITS on my April release, Mountain Country Courtship!! My editors love it, so I'm hoping readers do, too! :)
ReplyDeleteGlynna, your stories are always great! Hope the edits go smoothly.
DeleteJanet
Excited to know there's another Glynna book on the way! Yippy!!
DeleteNancy C
Congratulations to this week's winners and it sounds like a great week ahead. Ruthy's eggnog will be my first for this season. Yum! Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to all reading this!
Connie
cps1950(at)gmail(dot)com
Raising a cup of ice cold eggnog to you, Connie! :)
DeleteCongratulations to all the winners.
ReplyDeletePraying for all in the path of the storms and fires.
I apparently was writing a children's story in my sleep so as soon as I can this morning I need to write it down so I won't forget. It is crazy when I dream this way.
Have a great weekend everyone and stay safe.
That's happened to me, Wilani. Always fun to see where those dreamed stories take us!
DeleteI'd love to get one of those story dreams, Wilani and Myra!
DeleteJanet
I hope you got it written down, Wilani!
DeleteGood morning, Seekerville! We've been closely monitoring the Irma situation, and at present it looks like it will be tracking west of us. We could still get some high winds and heavy rain, but not the direct hit we were concerned about.
ReplyDeleteStill, praying for everyone who has been or will be affected. This has been a devastating summer and fall with hurricanes, wildfires, and other disasters. Stay safe, everyone!
So true, Myra. The USA is taking a big hit. We'll need to pull together to get through these tough times.
DeleteJanet
Oh, Myra, prayers your coming your way, too, my friend!!
DeleteHugs and more hugs,
Julie
Praying together is a wonderful idea... God's got us. God's got this!
DeleteI think Bobby Sherman had the song about Julie. "Julie, Julie, Julie do you love me?" Yes, I'm showing my age, but what a great time to be Julie Lessman.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all of the winners.
I'm praying for all of you in the path of Irma! Stay safe!
Ah, yes. I was madly in love with Bobby Sherman when I was 12.
DeleteLOL, Jackie, I completely forgot about that song, so I had to go listen to it online! It charted at #5 on Billboard Hot 100 in September 1970, so trust me, girlfriend, that doesn't show much age as far as this girl is concerned! ;)
DeleteHUGS!!
Julie
Laughing!
DeleteBobby Sherman...SWOON!
DeleteBoy, I loved him. :) And I loved that song.
Happy Weekend, Seekerville friends! Great WE, as always! CONGRATS to all the winners and I am TICKLED PINK to win a copy of Glynna's latest LI book---Yay!! :)
ReplyDeletePrayers for all those affected by hurricane weather, floods, and wildfires. SO scary and I'm praying for all to be safe under the Lord's protection.
Thank you again for sooo many kind birthday wishes this past week---I am very blessed, and I count my Seekerville friends among my greatest blessings!
Hugs (with peach cobbler!), Patti Jo :)
Patti Jo, you're one of Seekerville's greatest blessings. Thanks for bringing peach cobbler to celebrate your recent birthday.
DeleteJanet
I second Janet's sentiments! We love you, Patti Jo!
DeletePATTI JO!!! FB usually keeps me abreast of birthdays of favorite people, but I missed yours, my friend, so forgive me. Hope it was WONDERFUL!!
DeleteHugs,
Julie
I'm in full agreement with the others... you are one of the greatest blessings God has put in my path, Patti Jo. I'm so glad to call you friend.
DeleteLove you, Patti Jo!
DeleteWe love you, Patti Jo! Stay safe this week.
DeleteWhat an honor to be invited to post on Seekerville! I look forward to our discussion Monday! - In the meantime, prayers and concern fill my heart for all those who are in the path of the storm and for all of us with friends or family there.

Tina, saw your announcement on Facebook. Praise God and His generous people.
DeleteJanet
Congrats to our winners! Looking forward to next week's lineup.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous here in my corner of the Midwest. Sunny, on the cool side for this early in September.
I'm praying for everyone in Irma's path! I have many friends there and have spent lots of time on the West coast beaches. Praying for God to extend His hand and weaken the storm.
Janet
Janet, I echo your prayers...
DeletePrayers for everyone this weekend in harm's way.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the winners! Looking forward to reading Glynna's book!
What an awesome line-up for next week! Good job, Tina! I can learn from every one of them!

ReplyDeleteThanks Tina for another great WE.
Stay safe this weekend wherever you all are!!!
Valri, I love your enthusiasm! Bless you for bringing that to us so often!
DeleteThanks, Valri! So happy you enjoy them.
DeleteHappy Weekend to everyone. Praying for everyone in the path of the storms.
ReplyDeleteI had to check out the link to the Ireland writer's tour. How fun that would be. When I was in college, I took a month-long study trip to Ireland. We studied and visited places associated with Yeats and Joyce, among others. It was a combined English-Sociology trip. It was a great trip. I want to go back to Ireland so bad.
I'm not having the greatest Saturday. I am recovering from my cold and the meds are messing with my sleep. I hardly slept at all last night, then tried to sleep this morning. Now I have to go to work at the book store tonight. Hopefully will get back on track with life.
Sandy, colds are such an annoyance... I'm sorry you're sick! I'd love to go to Ireland with you. How fun that would be!!!
DeleteSooo jealous of your month-long study trip to Ireland, Sandy! What a dream!
DeleteGlynna, it was a wonderful time. It will be 40 years ago next year, though. I think it's time to go back! That was the only time I have been overseas.
DeleteSandy, I'm so sorry you're still sick!
DeleteAlso meant to say it looks like a great week ahead in Seekerville. Looking forward to all the posts.
ReplyDeleteSo very late to the party today, but did want to wish everyone a HAPPY WEEKEND!
ReplyDeleteStay safe, dear friends!
Cynthia, thank you! Bless you!
DeleteCynthia, I didn't arrive until Sunday. So you're not late at all! ;)
DeleteGood to know! Thanks, Missy and Ruthy! *waves*
DeleteHAPPY (AND SAFE) WEEKEND TO ALL!! MEGA prayers going out to Florida and those in Irma's path -- we are storming heaven on your behalf!!
ReplyDeleteSuper congrats to our winners, and God bless America!!
Hugs,
Julie
Amen.
DeleteCongratulations to all the winners! Stay safe this weekend! ((((HUGS))))
ReplyDeleteThank you, Caryl!
DeleteCARYL!!! Heard you had to evacuate, my friend, and I was so very sorry to hear it. Praying for you and yours and ALL of The Sunshine State!! 🙏❤️
DeletePraying for all in harm's way!!!
ReplyDeleteI see where the first book of my series set in Canyon Springs, Arizona (Dreaming of Home), is on sale in Kindle for $1.99. And the first of the Hearts of Hunter Ridge series (Rekindling the Widower's Heart) is $1.99, too! You just never know when these 'deals' will pop up on Amazon!
ReplyDeleteThe storms are more far reaching than one might think. I just learned that my niece who lives in the Smoky Mountains is evacuating because of the hurricane. She had evacuated for wildfires a few months ago.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all you winners. And thanks, Tina, for another WE. The links ... there's so much good info there. Very interesting about time personality. Having a heroine and hero with widely divergent time personalities could make for a bunch of conflict.
ReplyDeleteTake care ... and take care of others ;-)
Nancy C
What great links! Thanks to everyone who shared!
ReplyDeleteY'all stay safe if you're in the line of the storm. We're stocked up on foods we can eat without electricity. And have lots of bottled water. We'd appreciate prayers for the Atlanta area. I'm most worried about downed trees.
